Most familiar with the original series. Fondest of The Next Generation. Capt. Picard, No. 1, and Data. Oh, Helena Troy too, I also liked Whoopie Goldberg in the series also.

See if you can find the channel H & I....Heroes and Icons.   It's on regular antenna TV.

It has all of the Star Trek series each weeknight.   Star Trek, Star Trek The Next Generation, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Enterprise.

I watch Voyager at 11 PM and Enterprise at Midnight.   I think the original Star Trek starts at 7 PM.

Posting this here since it seems no one looks at the TV forum much.

I found a channel called H & I (Heroes and Icons).   They broadcast all of the old Star Trek series.

I am enjoying Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Enterprise alot.   Just started watching recently.   Voyager has the female Captain.   I also like Captain Archer on Enterprise.   Lots of action on these two series, and the special effects of space and the starship are really good!

Anyone else like Star Trek?   If so, which series are your favorites?

Yep. Almost a nightly routine on the H&I channel. I like most of the Trek'y episodes, yet, there are some that I just don't like that much, and skip for Jack Hanna's animal count down.

Well, we do have a satellite system here with minimal Direct TV. Geared for nursing facilities and those with dementia. They have the commercials made for old folks to want to buy their drug company meds, walkers, canes, portable oxygen kits, CPAP machines, and the programs and movies are played over and over. Why? Because some won't realize it's been shown dozens of times already. 45 channels for wonky brains. In a way it's a crooked well planned out deal for old people who don't know any better. Kinda sad when you think about it.

Free antenna is good. I bought a new TV Samsung and if we have internet it has free channels to stream. I dumped direct tv when at&t bought them and the price went up.

Star Trek Voyager has an awesome episode about God [Season 4, Episode 21: The Omega Directive], with even Seven of Nine looking at a Crucifix!:

I do love just about all things Star Trek!!

If you haven't see the newer [not newest] movie, "Star Trek" [2009], it's really good.

In a nutshell, Spock - an old man and an ambassador - gets hurled into some kind of space storm and back into an alternate universe.  Not THAT different.  The major players of the Enterprise still get assigned to the Enterprise as young people - just with slightly alternate backgrounds and ways that they GET assigned.

The older Spock meets the young boy, Kirk, and that's interesting.  At the end the young Spock meets the OLD Spock and that's even more entertaining.

They have to learn to work together as, of course, their lives and their universe depend on it.

It was really awesome and well-made.  And these young actors/actresses really captured their characters well.

Still watching Enterprise where several episodes have become a serial.   Captain Archer had been killed in the explosion destroying one of the spheres.   But now he is still alive as somehow he has traveled back in time.   So he probably will still live as he changes history.

My favorite Series:

1. Star Trek Voyager

Love everything about it, Seven of Nine, Capt. Janeway,Tuvok, best Borg episodes, best planets, new species, and  premise: get home.

2. Star Trek Discovery Season I

Discovery is definitely Rated R Star Trek with major objectionable content, but it was innovative, how the Discovery travels, and etc.

3. Star Trek The Original Series

-Corny to us now, like Adam West’s Batman, but this is where it all started. Leonard Nimoy’s preformance alone is stellar.

I have to say I couldn't get into CBS All Access “Picard,” it felt too much like a nostalgic milking of the franchise IMHO.  Am not a huge fan of Next Geneneration, felt too dark in certain episodes for my taste.

Favorite Films:

Star Trek IV: The Journey Home

-“Captain there be whales here!”

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

-“To be or not to be..”

Star Trek Nemesis

-“What am I? An echo?” (Shinzon) When I discovered the talented Tom Hardy.

Star Trek: Insurrection

-Has some person memories for me.

Star Trek (Kelvin Timeline)

-Great reboot, Chris Pine is a great Captain Kirk.

Star Trek: Beyond (2016)

-Highly underrated film. I enjoy planetside missions.

My favorite ships:

Intrepid Class (Voyager)

Enterprise B (Sulu’s Ship)

Enterprise C

Klingon Bird of Prey

Discovery Class

I liked Voyager because it had alot of action.... especially fighting The Borg.   Captain Janeway also was excellent.

Speaking of The Borg....
