I was on the verge of leaving this forum myself. The words you shared were an answer to a prayer and I heard the Spirit in what you had to say. I'm humbled that I was able to do the same for you my friend. As iron sharpens iron...

Time has certainly flown by in Covid-land without my noticing all that much. So, after Thanksgiving: Black Friday, followed by Cyber-Monday, then next stop Christmas. Christmas means the end of the dumpster fire we call 2020 is finally in sight . . . unless that light at the end of the tunnel is really an oncoming train! 1

I came to realize that the Christmas season is a time of year when even some of the meanest people around get a little nicer. So I see God uses this season for His purposes which makes it a good thing. Merry Christmas to everyone . 3

So long as Christmas has Christ at the center I have no issue with it. Merry Christmas, folks. 1

God never ceases to amaze me because when I was saved, and then learned Christmas had been a pagan holiday, I didn't want anyone to observe it. Back then I have my whole family a hard time. But I was wrong. God uses the Christmas season to soften the hearts of many people. This truly does amaze me. God is good. 3

Romans 14:5-13 "One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God. For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord........ Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this—not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother's way." Merry Christmas, everyone.
