Letter to Dr. James A. Forbes

Greetings~

Recently Rev. Dr. James A Forbes told a group of black homosexuals, they were being discrimiated against. Like the blacks were way back when. Who the homosexuals are is in their DNA.

Today, I wrote a letter to him. I have already posted it to him. It reads:

Dear Sir:

I pray you will make the effort to turn your eyes from Worldly (Homosexual) issues and ponder a statement you have made in the past. "I'm going to be embarrassed to meet GOD!"

I would like to believe that by the time you read this short note, you will be on your knees, asking GOD to forgive you, for putting your opinions into an ungodly issue.

May GOD have Mercy on James A. Forbes.

My reference to his statement: was because he believes that if he doesn't help the hungry poor people in the world, He will be embarrassed to meet GOD!

It's also most like he predeemed him self already.

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying Discriminated against for being black? For being homosexual? For both?

A leader in the church and teacher of God's Word should not accept and promote homosexual activity regardless of the colour of anyone's skin. To cloak the gay rights movement with the sufferings of blacks in history and the civil rights movement is bunk!

Homosexual activity is an abomination before God....white, black, purple or green.

Preaching about it being a sin has nothing to do with race. There's only one race and that's the human race.

As for him making the statement that he "would be embarrassed to meet God" (which is what Snow's note to him was regarding), all I can think is perhaps he might have chosen another word or phrase to get his point across.

Instead of saying "be embarrassed to meet God" maybe he should have said "be ashamed of myself when I face God." Which is something EVERYONE will have to do.
