Not all the settlers are crazy, but living in Israel you see alot more than just what you hear on Arutz Sheva or Jerusalem Post.

Many of these guys are mad and have always been mad. Look at the history of the soccer team "Beitar Illit." Their soccer chant is "Death to Arabs" or "Movet L'Aravim"--- I even know the musical tone of the song, but can't post it here obviously. You know how many times the fans of Beitar beat up Arab soccer teams for no reason- or because they lost the soccer game? They were voted the most violent sports team in the world! These are all settlers.

I watch the news in Hebrew, as I speak Hebrew fluently. To see the people of Gush Katif year after year put their machine guns in the air and rejoice. To see the hate speech the settlers from Gush Katif put out year after year. Lets take Hebron for example, this is not an isolated even, the settlers in Hebrew are contantly attacking Arabs. One guy started shooting and wiping out Arabs not that long ago. One guy put a bomb in a Palestinian day school of small children.

I am very pro-Israel and will defend Israel to the media lies anyday. However, the settlers are a minority of Israel ... maybe 3 percent. I will defend the IDF anyday too! I was happy when they assasinated Yassin! I defended it ! I am for the seperation wall. My opinion is shared by most of the moderate right in Israel (Likkud). As a matter of fact, we voted Likkud. However, to say that smearing the cause of the radical settlers is smearing the cause of Israel, when only 3 percent of native Israelis are settlers is funny. I am not against all settlements. There are settlements like Gush Etzion, Shaarei Tikva, Ariel, Pisgat Zeev, etc. that don't endanger us. I am for defensible borders, not the '67 borders. These settlers (the ones in Gaza and isolated Samaria) endanger the lives of Israeli soldiers.

What percentage of the Gush Katif residents actually engage in that behavior? In every video of every anti-disengagement demonstration I have seen. In every inteview that has been shown on TV and that I have seen via the internet, the Gush Katif residents are well mannered, not shooting guns in the air, they are not breathing threats to kill every Arab, the demonstrations are nonviolent, and in many cases, they are arrested for while trying to debate with Israeli soldiers and convince them of the insanity and stark stupidity of giving away Jewish land just so that it can become a haven for terrorists. I don't see all of the rabid blood thirsty Jews, though I can imagine there are some. I notice that they don't even show up on regular network news footage. The networks would love to find these people you are talking about, and would love to be able to show Jews in that kind of negative light. They would love to find a few violent Jews and then portray all of the heroic Jews living in Gush Katif as a bunch of evil people.

Yeah, and if the Israeli government got off its lazy butt and actually did something to protect their people, instead of engaging in these stupid "peace processes" Jews would never have felt the need to take matter into their own hands. If they would eradicate Hamas instead of bowing to international pressure to treat the terrorists as if they are a legitimate political entity, Israel would be a much safer place. I don't condone what any of those people did, but I still maintain, that none of this would have have happened in the first place had they not been pushed past their limits, by terrorists, and a by their government that seeks to undermine their survival in the territories. We can talk all day about Jewish hatred of Arabs in Gush Katif and other towns in the territories. The difference is that Jewish hatred being expressed is the result of having their children blown up playgrounds and pizza resuraunts, and their other loved ones shredded in bus bombs and supermarket bombs just because they were Jews born in Israel.

Arab hatred of Jews is completely irrational. They are Jews and therefore they should die because they are Jews. They have proven that they will even kill the Jews who support this brain-dead disengagement process. They easily murdered the Jews who supported Arafat. It doesn't matter if you love the Arabs or not; if you are Jew in Israel, you are targetted for extermination. The terrorists have made no secret of that. They want every Jew dead, and said as much. They make no distinction between the leftwing or rightwing Jews. In their eyes, a Jew is a Jew.

Yeah, once Gush Katif is successfully dismantled, it will provide precedent to dismantle the others as well. And pretty soon, you are going to have a few angry people over there. You don't honestly think it will stop with Gush Katif? This is a test to see how much can be given away to Israel's enemies. Pretty soon, we will see more and more given away in an attempt to appease these monsters.

The Jews in Gush Katif are not the ones endangering the lives of Israseli soldiers. Rather, it is Sharon. Sharon is most likely a closet leftist. I think he should be thrown out of office and have a real leader put in his place. He has been a big disappointment and the worst PM Israel has ever had. He has enabled the terrorists to gain more ground in many areas, not to mention in the arena of world opinion. Thanks to Sharon, and rest of his cronies, Hamas actually is being portrayed as a legitimate negotiating entity. Thanks to Sharon, Hamas no longer has to disarm, or give up their calls for Israel's destruction.

Had Sharon brought the full weight of the IDF to bear on Hamas and Co., had Sharon simply gotten rid of Arafat, like they should have done when they had the chance in the 70's, most of what we see would not be happening now. Israel needs a leader that will put Jews first, and tell the rest of world up which orafice they can shove their stupid road maps/peace processes.

You want to know what will endanger the lives of Israeli soldiers? When Gaza is given over to the Palestinians and Hamas is able to bring much more sophisticated weaponry, and set up a much stronger base of operations. When they are able to move unchecked through that territory, and build a much more powerful army that will have more powerful weapons that can kill more Jews from a longer distance. THEN, when the IDF has to go back in to answer the rockets that are falling on Tel Aviv and other areas, they will not be coming up against machine guns, katusha rockets, hand greanades and RPGs as before. They will be coming up against a much more formidable military force that can inflict far higher casualties than before. It will take more IDF soldiers to combat them, and will result in more needless civilian casualties than before. Leaving Gaza is just stupid. Gaza was given to the tribe of Judah it is Jewish land and should never be surrendered.

I don't care who supports it. Gush Katif is Jewish Land. It is not to be divided and certainly not to be given over to the enemies of the Jewish people. It is not fair, it is not biblical I don't care what they think, and I don't care what you think. Leaving Gaza is dangerous, it will result in more terrorism in Israel and it is just plain stupid.

Well then perhaps you should talk to Zola Levitt, Rebecca Brimmer who is the CEO of bridges for peace. There are plenty of Messianic Believers in Israel who are against the disengagement. Being against the engagement is not antagonistic to the spreading of the gospel. I can be just as fervent in my desire to see Jews saved as I can in my desire not to see more Jews murdered because of the stupidity of the disengagement. It is not good for Israel, and there is nothing Godly or spiritual about being pro-disengagement.

By supporting the disengagement, people are sending the message to the terrorists, "you are the winners," and many more precious souls that might have heard the gospel won't because they were victims of the increased terrorism. The disengagement is just as irresponsible as those who start riots on the Temple Mount. I will never support anything that is going to result in more Jews getting senselessly murdered in their own Land. I will let you explain to the grieving loved ones of those murdered as a result of this insanity, why you thought it was such a good idea.

Sometimes you have stand with the truth, and not with the majority.

Clueless in Jerusalem

Israel National News

by Paula R. Stern

Aug 04, '05 / 28 Tammuz 5765

Rarely have I seen a government so successfully bungle something that should be so simple. The government, read here "Ariel Sharon", believed Israel must disengage from the Palestinians unilaterally because, after years of violence, it was clear to one and all that there was no partner on the other side with whom we can negotiate. Up to this point, Sharon's assessment was logical, well intentioned and might well have had the support of the nation.

If you can't live with them... After more than 50 years of warfare, it is becoming evident that they aren't willing to live with us, and disengagement might well be the only way to end this conflict. So the conclusion Sharon reached might have been logical, that we must separate Jew and Arab, that the experiment has failed and there can be no resolution given the severity of the outstanding issues. Years ago, Rabbi Meir Kahane was assailed as a racist for suggesting this very theory, and yet today, it is widely accepted

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
