Better to read, pray, read more, pray again and ask Holy Spirit to heal our past teaching and open our minds to God Word again. Write down what was taught and any questions, then ask and make time for the Gret Teacher to teach us himself, I think. I have friends who have been in cults and are still battling the previous teaching. A good point, but it was a part of the Geneva bible until it was removed in later translations. It was the commonly held view until just a few centuries ago. When the 'dispensational' ideas took hold, everything changed and 'prophesy' was rewritten. Go to my original first posting. The OP explains it all. The Geneva Bible is one of the most historically significant translations of the Bible into English, preceding the King James Version by 51 years.[1] It was the primary Bible of 16th-century English Protestantism and was used by William Shakespeare,[2] Oliver Cromwell, John Knox, John Donne, and John Bunyan, author of The Pilgrim's Progress (1678).[3] It was one of the Bibles taken to America on the Mayflower.
