I agree that that is what most of us try to do.. that and to try to not be one of those decieved lost lukewarm people that Jesus says he's gonna spew out of his mouth.. and say he never knew!!

At least I'm trying not to be one of those people and I try to get everyone I know not to be one of those people.. unfortunately .. non - believers think I'm los'n it.. and believers think I'm decieved and lost and losing it ..

I don't know..Sometimes I feel like I don't fit in anywhere..

I just wish Jesus would hurry up!!

Anyone catch Rod Parsley on Larry King a couple nights ago? Larry asked him the same thing, about all the fancy hotel rooms and private airplanes and Rod told him that "A workman was worth his wages."  

Also I have gotten the creeps from Copeland  for years! That TBN is a freak show, and I am not trying to desparage, but that is the only way I can describe it, it is such a black smear on the Name of the Holy one!  It breaks my heart when I think of the lost tuning in and thinking that is what G-d and JEsus are all about.  Yes, Jesus is L-RD! But I believe he would be too embarrased to go sit on one of their golden "throne" chairs.  Makes the Burger King look honorable.

Have you seen when Benny Hinns wife Suzanne was preaching and she said that people need a holy ghost e nema up their re ar ends.. (basically telling people to shove the Holy Ghost up their rear ends, that was my interpretation of it.. )

and then went on to scream that men pleasers were "b utt kissers" which she screamed out a whole bunch of times.. and then took off her shoes and screamed and ranted up and down the stage until she belly flopped on the floor..

Sorry if this offended any one but that is what she said...

Its a disgrace!!!! .. and Jesus I am sure is weeping his heart out when he sees this garbage!!

Yes, and Jesus is powerless to run His own Body. If TBN is sooooo wrong, why doesn't Jesus do something about it, since all that is being done in His name?

God put that station there...that's why!

The false teachers are the ones telling everyone that God wants us poor, miracles have passed away, God wants you sick, etc.

5. Where does it say that we become "like God" when we are born again.. I really only found in Gensis where satan told Eve.. that she will be "like God" if she ate the fruit and sinned.. .. it didnt say that Adam was already created "like God"  just in his image..  is there something I am missing?

Sounds like you're doing just fine. Stick with Holy Scripture (as you know, that means Genesis through Revelation).
