What are they hiding now?

All I can think of is that they are protecting others from you giving COVID-19 to them.   What is so wrong with loving your neighbor?

If a person walked into a bank in the past with a mask they would call the police. :noidea:

And if a bank robber in the past tried to rob a back wearing the type of mask we wear for Covid19 the security guards would be defenceless as they would be laughing hysterically. ?

I thought of this the other day when I was at the grocery store. It was one of those banks that is in a grocery store and I saw this guy in there with a mask on. My reaction was... :39:

Traditionally masks were used for ceremonial, religious, or drama purposes.

During cold and flu season I used to often see people in banks wearing masks.  Never thought they looked like bank robbers.  But they were wearing masks like this: ?

wearing masks whenever someone thinks they may be ill is normal for many cultures, including mine. It shows consideration for others. Normal. No big deal. I dont understand the problem. Mind you, I dont understand the OP

Nor do I. Prior to the pandemic, people were wearing masks in this city where I live for allergy relief. Allergies are a tremendous issue here and I suffer greatly from them myself. Masks were a common sight for many years.

I've pointed this out before and it bears repeating again. All this talk of mask-wearing being an infringement upon the "rights" of people strikes me as patently absurd, especially in light of the many laws which we observe in society.

We're required to observe traffic signals, stop signs, and yield the right of way.
We're required to pay taxes and abstain from theft, assault, murder, and extortion.

And if we fail to observe traffic signals, stop signs and yield the right of way, then there are consequences we are required to face. If we don't pay our taxes, engage in theft, assault others, and become murderers then the most dire of penalties will be assigned to us by society.

In little over a year, close to 3 million people have died from complications related to COVID-19 around the world, and yet there are those cry "foul!" because we're urged to take certain precautions to help prevent the spread of this deadly pathogen. Truly, it boggles the mind.

Not where I live, missmuffet. Masks were a common sight here before the pandemic.
