What this axiom does say is that if a spiritual universe exists that does not have laws or principles in common with our physical universe, then we cannot be aware of it and thus it would be of no concern to us.  However, if a spiritual universe exists such that we are aware of some of its manifestations, then it will have laws or principles in common with our physical universe.  Thus, for any postulated assertion of a spiritual reality, there should be corresponding evidence of that reality reflected in our physical universe.  Conversely, it should be possible to formulate a framework of characteristics of the physical universe that will indicate the nature of the corresponding spiritual reality. Practically speaking, this axiom means that it is possible to construct a logical theory encompassing virtually every field of science that will explain the purpose behind everything known to man.

Was it Stephen Hawkins [the guy in the wheelchair] who spent decades chasing up a "Theory Of Everything" and conceded defeat on such before he died.

Also is it not simply amazing, mindboggling even, that our physical universe comprised of Newtonian physics and laws [bang your forehead against a brick wall for a demonstration] is underpinned by an entirely strange subatomic universe of particles that do not follow the laws of Newton and Einstein. Quantum mechanics and particles are in their own realm, and yet our solid predictable and measurable universe is made up of this fuzzy stuff. -

That's still the Holy Grail of physics.

Common sense certainly is not that at the subatomic level.

Hawking was a brilliant scientist but let us not forget how he lost that bet about black holes (he insisted that black holes didn't exist). There were many things which Einstein doubted even though others pointed out how his general theory of relativity suggested the existence of some truly strange things in the universe like black holes, wormholes, and dark matter. Einstein's theories of relativity were an effort to produce a theory of "everything" and so was super string theory which followed in its wake. That missed the mark as well.

I keep abreast of research in many fields and the recent revelations concerning black holes are fascinating. There's evidence that some black holes are sources of dark matter, that mysterious, invisible substance which comprises the bulk of the universal mass. That, and not all black holes are the same... there are different types. The Lord created all things, seen and unseen. :)

I wonder if black holes in the universe sucking in light represents in creation a spiritual truth or parable about sin and darkness - no light.

Before GOD (Jesus) created anything further in regards to our planet Earth and the solar system this happened - and it is still a mystery that I need to ask Him about -

1 In the beginning God created[a] the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

And this is not the Sun, Moon and planets.

In the gospel of John Jesus (Yeshua for some) claimed to be the light of the world.

Possibly, brother. Black holes are mystifying features of the Lord's creation, of this there is no doubt. The enormous tidal force exerted by these super-massive objects has the effect of superheating nearby matter (to millions of degrees) which causes the emission of radio waves and x rays (this was how the first black hole was detected and what caused Stephen Hawking to lose the bet). These jets of superheated matter can extend for thousands of light years into space.

An even greater mystery: a stupendously massive black hole is found at the heart of most galaxies, including our own. It was once thought that nothing could escape these gigantic black holes but recent observation has discovered the opposite: the black hole at the heart of our galaxy is giving rise to stellar masses... it's a factory churning out stars, couched simply. As paradoxical as it sounds, black holes apparently play a role in the formation of nebulae and stars.

I believe "Void" is an apt descriptive of the dark star which is the stellar black hole. Research has revealed that "many" black holes are only 5 to 10 times more massive than our Sun. Advances have paved the way for the detection and observation of dozens of black holes... they are more common than once thought. Scientists have now observed black holes in the process of collision, much like how galaxies were observed in the process of collision. Obliteration is not the result.

I'm of the opinion that the black hole is a dark matter star (a dark star), for lack of a better way of putting it. Dark matter is more dense, by many orders of magnitude, than the universal mass we may directly observe and are familiar with. Black hole theory has been turned upside down as of late.

Here's the first-ever image of a black hole using a technique called Very Long Baseline Interferometry. What we see is a "flare" of superheated matter emitting x rays and radio waves.

Funny about that - I remember in the 1950s and 1960s worldly wisdom promised that if we all through our Bibles in the rubbish bin and freed ourselves from religious superstitions about God and creation that atheistic sciences would answer all the questions and mysteries of the universe and everything - and they came up with 42.

And here is where you thesis breaks down  The Spiritual and Physical "universe" (as you call it) are completely different

The natural world is mass, and energy and laws governing those. Science is our tool for understanding the physical world

Science, Human Logic and Reason are completely useless in understanding the Spiritual realm Because it has no mass, no physical energy and runs on a completely different set of rules

Miracles are times when God sets aside natural law and causes things that could not possibly happen. Parting the red sea, walking on water, turning water into wine et al. These make no sense to the scientific minded.

A Christian must be spiritually minded and ready to think outside the narrow box of our comprehensive ability and perceptions

12 Corinthians 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

People looking for a natural explanation for the supernatural would be the "wise" God puts to shame

There is no conflict between science and the bible, because God created both

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
