Think about this for a moment. Does Satan have allies among men? No! He is the destroyer. His mission is to destroy us if we are good or bad. Not one man or woman upon this earth can go into battle against him without the armor of God. There is no way you can fight with this spirit alone or any spirit for that matter. First of all, Satan and his minions are invisible. The Bible calls this “chains of darkness.” If these evil spirits could appear before man whenever they got ready, man would not have a chance to obtain eternal life. They can only appear when they have permission. These beings have greater wisdom than man, greater strength than an ox, swifter than an eagle, and more fierce than a lion. How can you fight and enemy like that? We can not, not alone.

Let's begin this lesson by showing the only way you can be protected from this powerful enemy. The only way is to run behind his boss, and who is his boss? The Everlasting GOD (Jesus). Hope and pray that the Lord doesn't send him after you. If He does you don't have a chance. Satan will only attack when the Lord God gives the order. Those of us that call ourselves servants of God, do what the book says, stay away from the willful sins. Then the Lord will have no reason to put these evil spirits on you. Let's get started and see whose power we need to defend ourselves against Satan and his minions.

Ephesians 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Be strong in the Lord and in His power and His might. And how do you grasp this power that is not your own? Take a look.

Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

If we take on the Lord's armor we will be protected. When a brother or sister argues the Bible, they are locked in the heat of the battle, but not with the person that stands before them. Who are they wrestling or warring with? Let's see.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12)

You are not fighting against flesh and blood you are fighting against an evil spirit. To get that spirit out of your face, read the book and the book will shoot holes in all that false doctrine. Jesus says in Matthew 4: 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

What we need to do now is take a look at the pieces of the Lord's armor. Make sure to pay close attention to the parts of the armor that you need. We will see that if you don't have the entire armor we might as well not have any at all. You will also see that if we have the entire armor on we will also possess an offensive weapon. This weapon is the most powerful weapon in the creation. Let's take a look at this armor.

Ephesian 6:13-17 - Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

We must have the whole armor on, not half or one piece but all. The enemies’ weapon is bad doctrine; this bad doctrine is all around us. Our faith or belief in the Lord will protect us from all our enemies. How you might ask?

Jesus said in Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments

So Jesus said, “but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments,” No matter what you read in the Bible, these commandments have to be kept to enter into life, or you will be judge by them. Now let’s read further into what Jesus is saying here in Matthew… Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself

This includes the Sabbath day on the seventh day of the week (Saturday).

This also include,Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (which includes Easter, Christmas, going to church on Sunday and any other pagan or tradition of men that may cause another God to be worship)

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (Exodus 20:3-8)

By walking in righteousness, which is following the commandments, we will be at peace. Not only peace, if we endure to the end we will obtain salvation. Jesus says in Matthew 24: 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. That is until the end of your life, or until the Second Coming of the Lord.

As we have seen, we have an offensive weapon. The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. The word of God spoken in truth and in righteousness will defeat any enemy. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

Thank you.. forgive me not to offend but your making some statements that are not written in the word of God.  Example to say Satan only attacks when God gives the order is not true. If we go back to the book of beginnings we find Satan decieved Adam and Eve. After they sinned what did God say? "And the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

God never sends Satan after anyone. There are fallen angels in chains and that is because even GOD can not control them. See the problem is what IS written "greater is He that is in you then he thats in the world" "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Right there its already written Christ has given us all power/authority over the enemy. God does not can not sent Satan after himself. Well WHERE is Christ? Rev 3:20. And are we not ONE with Him? He in the Father the Father in Him and He is in us? What did Christ say about the Holy Spirit? He will be with us forever. So just ONE believer has all power over every demon every fallen angel. That POWER is Christ in us.

All this was not Gods plan. This is not what GOD wanted. God didn't allow Satan into the Garden to temp Adam and Eve. God didn't allow the angels to leave their first estate to then take women and have children of great renown.  "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day."

Its clear when He said "Satan comes to kill steal and destroy."

Why do people love to spout spiritual claptrap.

What do you mean by run behind his boss ( Jesus )?

If you or anyone reading this hopes to encourage a beleaguered Christian say what you mean in simple practical terms.

"Run behind his boss!".  What you are struggling to say is to do the basic practical things of Christian living.

To have a time of Bible reading and prayer, to have Christian books, blogs, podcasts to read, listen to surfing the day.

To think about how the Christian world view looks at and understands the days news.

To have an extended time of Bible study and prayer regularly.

To be faithful in attending your church services, Bible studies and prayer meetings etc.

That these are only an outward show of the state of your faith, but they are processes that help one keep your faith where it should be in Jesus.

Well, let's look at Some situation on what happen if you do not hide behind the boss (Jesus).  Psalm 78: 31 The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, And smote down the chosen men of Israel. 32 For all this they sinned still, And believed not for his wondrous works. 33 Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, And their years in trouble. 34 When he slew them, then they sought him: And they returned and enquired early after God.

Let's skip down and read a little more

43 How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, And his wonders in the field of Zoan: 44 And had turned their rivers into blood; And their floods, that they could not drink. 45 He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them;

And frogs, which destroyed them. 46 He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, And their labour unto the locust. 47 He destroyed their vines with hail, And their sycomore trees with frost. 48 He gave up their cattle also to the hail, And their flocks to hot thunderbolts. 49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, By sending evil angels among them

Now that we see what one must have to be protected, let's see how some of these evil spirits operate. Pay close attention and you will see that they operate through men in this case.

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. (Revelation 13:1-2)

This beast isn't Satan. This beast represents the entire Gentile dynasty. From Nebuchadnezzar to the ten nations that will make up the European Economic Community that is gaining power at this very moment. Notice where the beast gets it power? The dragon which is Satan the devil gives this system its power. Let's back up to the 12th chapter of Revelation and in this chapter you will see the beast is called the dragon (Satan).

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: (Revelation 12:1)

This women represents Israel, this can be found in Genesis the 37th chapter verses 9-10.

“And she is with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” (Revelation 12:2-4

Note what's being said. “And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” In the 13th chapter of Revelation it stated the dragon gave the beast its power. This simply means Satan which is the dragon runs the Gentile dynasty or in other words he gave the beast his power. In Daniel chapter 9 verse 26 you will see the children of the prince destroyed Jerusalem. Satan is the prince and the Gentiles are the children. The Gentiles destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D. headed up by the Roman General Titus.

Take another look at part of the verses above, this is Satan hard at work. “And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” This is what Satan is all about destruction. The child is Jesus; remember when He was born and the angel told Joseph to flee into Egypt because Herod sought the child's life? It wasn't Satan standing there himself; he tried to kill Jesus by the hand of Herod. Herod had no idea that Satan was behind this, his concern was his kingship. This is one reason you must try the spirits. How do you try the spirits? With the word of God.

(EXAMPLE- Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,) so, what was Herod about to do? Commit murder.
