So true

that is the flaw with preterism They think the tribulation has already come and Nero was the Antichrist, but unless the return of Christ happened sever years from the beginning of that, it was nit the tribulation

There are a lot of problems with preterism. :(

Appears when many come running around saying they are Christ, (there are a few people claiming this today, Jesus of Russia but certainly not many). So when that happens probably a sign the end is not yet and the many claiming the be Christ hasn’t happened yet, So is the end long way off?

When I was in my twenties I 2was convince Christ was coming soon

When I was in my thirties I was sure

When I was in my forties I was   pretty sure

When I was in my 50's I was hoping

Now that I am in my 60's I am not sure, and If comes to meet me, or I go to meet Him its all good

There is no way of knowing. but you can keep yourself prepared

So what's Jesus saying exactly? Please walk us through your interpretation. It doesn't make sense to me.

When asked when Jesus is coming, always answer: Today.

Every believer is a preterist and futurist.

Not nearly the problems caused by Dallas Theological Seminary that indoctrinates preachers in the Darby dispensational errors.

Up until Darby, most conservative theology had not changed from the early church.

That is roughly 1800 years of what is now called 'partial preterism'.

Every believer is a futurist or historical believer. But if they read the Bible for what it is intended and correctly they will be a futurist.

OH. So all the OT prophecies about the first coming of the messiah are future...?

For what it's worth I found this study on the subject helpful. I am not familiar with Grace Theological seminary. I am only going by the study as presented here which I thought was quite well done.

The Structure And Sequence Of Matt 24:1-41: Interaction With Evangelical Treatments

As I mentioned before,  a view of these passages doesn't have to be an either or with respect to preterist or futurist views.

Anything that seems a stretch probably is so far as ascertaining the entirety of the meanings.

We are told only the Father knows the day or hour of His return.

Apparently you are preterist. I don't and never will support your theology.
