Fear of the Lord (Part 2)

Second part of the study:

•    “The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; all practicing them have good understanding; His praise stands forever.” (Psalms 111.10).

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of Jesus. That is, the proof that we wisdom of Jesus is being infused in us it that we are fearing Him. So, don’t fear to be treated by Jesus, as it took place to the Israelites:  

•    And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. But *let not God speak with us*, lest we die. And Moses said to the people, *Do not fear, for God has come to test you, and so that His fear may be before your faces, so that you may not sin*. And the *people stood afar off*, and Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.” (Exo 20:19-21).

It isn’t for us to fear to be in the presence of Jesus. On the contrary: it is for us to come up to Jesus and rest and wait in His presence (Psalms 37.4,7; Hebrews 4.16). We need to fear to tell Jesus on somebody that grieve us, as well as to fear what heathens fear (Isaiah 8.12.14; 51.12,13: Hebrews 13.5,6).

•    “instead they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Jehovah.” (Proverbs 1.29).

But many people don’t desire the true ken because this break down the control that they have over population. They prefer to pass over the fails of the people because the sin, as a vice, keep people subordinate to them. They prefer the fear of the world to the fear of Jesus.

So, have a sweet day in Christ Jesus and don’t overlook boorish people; instead, pick eclectic activities that make them settle in your presence and make them fear come to terms with the sin.
