Inheritance x Reward: what is better?

•    Pro 14:18 -> “The simple inherit folly, but the wise are crowned with knowledge.”.

In the world, certainly reward is better than inheritance. After all, in the world that lies in evil (1John 5:19), what is spontaneously handed down for us are vain things, foolishness. 

See, for instance, the concepts and values passed through by media. We think that we are free to think and feel, but the truth is that, during all our life, we have been conditioned to answer to the circumstances pursuant to what the global elite expects from us.

One proof of this are the universities, which mold us like robots, so that we can enter in the pattern establish by the Babylonian System (system which leads this world).

In regard to the heritage of the fathers, see what the Holy Scripture says:

•    Pro 19:14 -> “Houses and riches are the inheritance of fathers, and a prudent wife is from Jehovah.”.
•    Pro 20:21 -> “An inheritance gotten hastily in the beginning, even the end of it shall not be blessed.”.

So, the question is: To what extent are we able to cope with our inheritance? Without wisdom, the person can use these gifts against themselves and people around them (for instance, to cultivate the delights of their flesh).

When, however, people exercise discipline and character in their life, they become capable of dealing with what the Creator let them to own.

On the other hand, in regard to the spiritual things, certainly the best thing is to inherit the holy and pure character of Christ, as well as His heavenly inheritance for us (Eph 1:3; 2Peter 1:3).

It’s useless try to acquire a good character and deportment by our own efforts:

•    Eph 2:8,9 -> “For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”.

The correct is to receive Jesus’ presence in us and don’t preclude Him to work His salvation with fear and trembling in us and through us (Phil 2:12,13).

So, have a good day filling yourself of the Holy Spirit (Eph 5:19; Col 3:16) and leaving Him guide you in all circumstances and you will be perfectly able to use every blessing in a blessed way.
