Why do we go through problems? 3 - We are suffering the outcomes that ensue the sin of a person close to us.

•    “He has built against me, and compassed me with gall and travail. He has set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old. He has hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he has made my chain heavy.” (Jeremiah 3.5-7).

Jeremiah was feeling the pains of Jerusalem in his body, soul and spirit. Nonetheless, who had sinned was Jerusalem. Similar thing took place in the epoch of Joshua:

•    “And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get you up; wherefore lie you thus upon your face? Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.” (Joshua 7.10,11).

Achan sinned and the quelling of Israel ensued.

Something suchlike came about the mariners that was heading out to Tarshish:

•    “But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.” (Johan 1.4).
•    “And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.” (Johan 1.12).

Because Jonas sinned, the drowning of the all seamen were about ensuing.

Alike, it’s doable that what you are going through is being caused by a nobody or a shred of sin. Perhaps the sin is so teeny that you can never figure that this is the cause of your sin. However, remember that, many times, in the Olympiad the second place forfeit all the glory and award of the first place for the sake of thousandths of seconds (see the severe warning of Paul – 1Corinthians 9.24-27).

On the other hand, if there is an “Achan” or “Jonah” in your “boat”, don’t forget that Jesus is in this “boat” too (see Matthew 8.24). Although Jesus, the guard of your life, doesn’t slumber nor sleep (Psalms 121.3,4), nevertheless He is biding to be “arisen” for your prayer for this person in order to change your serfdom:

•    “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends:…” (Job 42.10).

However, be careful!!! Perhaps your “Achan” or “Jonah” is someone that someone that you never fancied (look back in Joshua 7 and see that it was necessary one utter day to Joshua find out Achan, and this under revelation of the Creator). Follow the example of Paul:

•    “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.” (1Corinthians 4.5).

So, take refuge in Jesus (Psalms 46.1), abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91.1), rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him (Psalms 37.7) and know that He is God (Psalms 46.10). Do this and, certainly, the object of curse in your life will be throw away forever (Deuteronomy 30.1-3) and your days will be beyond all imagine (Ephesians 3.20).

Stay in the grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ps.: And if what is bring trouble to your life is where you live, citizens’ sins? How to sort it out? Tomorrow we will see this (if Jesus reveals).

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
