May our way be delightful to Jesus (Pv 16.7)

•    “He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places. He has turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he has made me desolate.” (Lamentations 3.10,11).

When believers in Christ are undergoing a tribulation, their propensity is to think that the Creator is angry at them, getting after them at all time, biding with alacrity the next mistake in order to have excuse for pouring down all His wrath. Something like this it is what Job thought:

•    “What is man, that you should magnify him? and that you should set your heart upon him?   And that you should visit him every morning, and try him every moment? How long will you not depart from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle? I have sinned; what shall I do unto you, O you preserver of men?  Why have you set me as a mark against you, so that I am a burden to myself?” (Job 7.17-20).

However, in Job’s case, who brought about all that miseries was Ha-Satan, such as came about Peter:

•    “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: but I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and when you are converted, strengthen your brethren.” (Luke 22.31-32).

To be more precise: although it was necessary the tribulation come after Peter, Jesus, as lawyer (1John 2.1), vouchsafed to him what it was necessary to him overcome. Ditto happened with Paul:

•    “For this thing I besought the Lord three times, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2Corinthians 12.8,9).

Jesus always accoutres us with the necessary accoutrements. Nevertheless, we need to think over: on what are we building our lives (see 1Corinthians 3.12-15)? How can we expect that Jesus bless us if our good is bad for other people? So, if it is your case, set about speaking and doing only what is good for the edification of the body of Christ and have a day fraught of the novelties of Jesus (Romans 6.7).
