As young students we didn't care about the motivations or who did what, we just wanted to break it down and explain exactly how the buildings collapsed from a technical point of view. Now... If we drop a hammer from the height of the tower it would take 10 seconds to reach the ground in a free fall. When the towers collapsed it took them only 10 seconds as well, as if it was free falling... But it couldn't have possibly been free falling unless the building below the crash zone was already falling as well. That is only possible with explosives as there was no damage, below the crash zone, for it to fail like it did. What we should of seen was a deceleration in the collapse as each floor would of provided some resistance to slow it down. We applied this theory to some scaled down simulations and confirmed our mathematical findings through practical experimentation. While the steel at the crash zone would of got soft enough to fail the same can't be said for the rest of the steel below it. So what we concluded was this; the two towers had explosives detonated from below the crash zone for it to fall like that. It free fell which defies the laws of physics, in particular, Newtons 3 law of motion where an applied force to an object is always met by the same amount of force in the opposite direction.
