I find this trend to be another example of Satan who continues to corrupt the reasoning ability of mankind by injecting powerful feelings and thoughts about independent thinking and the glorification of self, thereby obviating Biblical texts, such as Jeremiah 10:23: "I well know, O Lord, that man’s way does not belong to him. The church is supposed to affect the world, but instead, the world and it's satanic idea's are slowly inching their way into the church. I'm not a church basher or ever try to discourage church attendance, but we have to be realistic about what we see and hear, and experience. You destroy the foundations i.e. the rock, you are building on sand. This is what happens when the first two thirds of our Bibles are thrown out.
