More and more, I am hearing the above phrase or iterations of it: "Be your own truth;" "Speak your own truth," etc.  In the news and on interview programs, more and more people are uttering these types of phrases.  I find this trend to be another example of Satan who continues to corrupt the reasoning ability of mankind by injecting powerful feelings and thoughts about independent thinking and the glorification of self, thereby obviating Biblical texts, such as Jeremiah 10:23: "I well know, O Lord, that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step."

That sounds worldly and new age.

@BibleStudent100

What I and others have seen, is that this kind of thinking is becoming more and more predominate in more and more churches too.

The church is supposed to affect the world, but instead, the world  and it's satanic idea's are slowly inching their way into the church.

I'm not a church basher or ever try to discourage church attendance, but we have to be realistic about what we see and hear, and experience.

Doctrines are changing, and we have to be aware of that, to protect ourselves and those we love.

You don't have to look far to see this either.  Just look at some replies on this site alone ...

I try my best to not become involved with other sites ... this one is enough for me.  Trying to keep my stress down.

Because of Lawlessness it is really that simple. You destroy the foundations i.e. the rock, you are building on sand.  This is what happens when the first two thirds of our Bibles are thrown out.

Shalom

Dr. orders!  Yes, too my wild beliefs do cause me stress, wondering how anyone could end up with such strange beliefs.

We all will have straightened out points… just because God says:
1 Corinthians 8:2 (KJV) [2] And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
