    Sadness is something good or evil? “For what” and “how” has you cried?

•    “Their heart cried to Jehovah. O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a torrent day and night; give yourself no rest. Let not the daughter of your eye cease. Arise, cry out in the night. At the beginning of the watches, pour out your heart like water before the face of Jehovah. Lift up your hands toward Him for the life of your children who are faint for hunger in the head of every street.” (Lamentations 2.18,19).

Many people think that the Creator only see the heart (distorting 1Samuel 16.7). Notwithstanding, regardless the heart of some Israelites were crying to the Creator, Jeremiah urged everybody to mourn, not only in their houses, but in public (for example, in the wall of Jerusalem). 

The idea is that all this wailing leaded all Israelites to see the gravity of the sin of Israel and, with this, all of them got broken heart (Jeremiah 9.17) and wept all tears that a human being is able to run down, so that waters looked like spring from the wall of Jerusalem. And they should bemoan by their children that were fainting for hunger.

And we? How much have we cried before Jesus by our children? If, indeed, we believe in Jesus as Unique Savior and we truly love our children, we should not give rest to our eyes and mouth until we see Jesus’ plan for their lives fulfilled (see Jeremiah 62.7,8).

There are two types of sadness:

•    “Now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you grieved to repentance. For you were *grieved according to God*, so that you might suffer loss by nothing in us. For the grief according to God works repentance to salvation, not to be regretted, but *the grief of the world* works out death. For behold this same thing (you being grieved according to God); how much it worked out earnestness in you; but also defense; but also indignation; but also fear; but also desire; but also zeal; but also vengeance! In everything you approved yourselves to be clear in the matter.” (2Corinthians 7.9-11). 

The grieve in according to the Creator is precious. See what the Creator do with our tears when we bewail pursuant to His will (see Isaiah 64.5):

•    “You number my wandering; O put my tears into Your bottle; *are they not in Your Book*?” (Psalms 56.8).

None of these tears is lost.

So, stop of muttering for material losses, for the disesteem of people around you, etc. Allow that the Holy Spirit makes intercessions for you (and for those who Jesus put in your life) by the righteous cause with groanings which cannot be uttered and certainly you will see how your life is precious, how you are loved and, with this, you will see His oil of gladness anointing you for all this week (and forever - Hebrews 1.9).
