    Don’t consent that your heart get troubled in virtue of you misunderstand the justice of Jesus:

•    “Let all their wickedness come before You; and do to them as You have done to me for all my transgressions. For my sighs are many, and my heart is faint” (Lamentations 1.22).

When the enemies lash us out or act against us, our propensity is to long for the day that this person will face the assize of Jesus, mainly when we consider being suffering the Creator’s nemesis for our sins. We question: why the bad don’t go through any harm (Job questioned it – Job 21.7-15)?

However, we need to accept the idea that each one has a role in the plan of the Creator (see Romans 9.21-23) and, while this plan isn’t carried out, the wicked needs to reach what it is necessary for their mission:

•    “And He said to Abram, You must surely know that your seed shall be a stranger in a land not theirs, and shall serve them. And they shall afflict them four hundred years. And also I will judge that nation whom they shall serve. And afterward they shall come out with great substance.” (Genesis 15.13,14).

That for some moments our spirit gets troubled, this is acceptable. The own Jesus experienced this when He was to announce the betrayer:

•    “When Jesus had said this, He was *troubled* in spirit, and testified and said, Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you shall betray Me.” (John 13.21).

Even knowing that Judas Iscariot would sell Him and that this was necessary to take place so that the Holy Scripture was fulfilled, the love of Jesus for Judas Iscariot made Him feel like this. Nevertheless, some verses forward He said:

•    “Let not your heart be *troubled*. You believe in God, believe also in Me.” (John 14.1).

So, don’t flinch from Jesus and His word when the things get worse or someone scathe, beat up or injure you. Believe that the life of Christ is the better one for us to live (John 6.51-57), believe that the Creator will able your spirit to face up to everything that is necessary for His glory manifest through you (Romans 8.18; 2Corinthians 4.16-18) and have a wondrous weekend in Christ Jesus.
