I normally don't focus on "end times" stuff. My philosophy is to live each day as if it may be your last. If you die tomorrow it doesn't much matter to you when the end comes.

BUT....

HOW MUCH LONGER CAN WE GO ON LIKE THIS before God says, "Enough is enough!!!"

God help us........we, as a nation, are so blind.

We need to read and live 2 Chron. 7: 14 "if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

What will it take to wake us up????

I understand what you mean, Fiosh, but I think it's hard NOT to be "end-times minded" anymore. In my opinion, the reason so many people scoff at those who are end-times minded is because their lives seemingly haven't been affected by end-time events. Noone can say that now. We are all affected.

With all of the natural disasters and stories like this article provides, we can't ignore the fact that Jesus is coming soon. The message to repent is being sent out across the world. People will either ignore it or they will heed it and be saved and prepared.

We must look inward, re-examine our hearts and lives and repent. We must get back on track and share the Gospel with a dying world. There is no time to be embarrassed or ashamed of being a Christian.

Bah! We're REALLY pushing the limits. I thought Stem Cell research or abortion or cloning could be the very end of it, but THIS? How long will it take for humans to realize that it's NOT a good idea to try to kick God off His throne?

Probably until they realize that he exists and is on a throne and they find themselves bowing before it.

Brothers and sisters, forgive me. I do not understand what the outcry is all about. Please enlighten me. Aside from some ungodly uses of this technology, like by homosexuals and possible laws forcing the surgical removal from substance abusers, I do not see the problem. Will fertilized eggs be thrown away using this as in in-vitro (the moral consideration against it)? Will any life at all be ceased as a result of this? The surrogate mother has been used for a long time for infertile couples, but that has the problem of possible attachment by the surrogate mother to the baby and can therefore be extremely costly in terms of the ensuing court battle. These machines could resolve that problem- or is using a surrogate mother wrong too?

Again, I don't mean to argue, just question. This sounds like the medicine argument all over again (that is, being against modern medicine just because it takes away the opportunity for God to heal someone supernaturally- only this time it takes away an opportunity for God to give a miracle baby like with Abraham and Sarah, or does it? One does still need an egg and sperm before this even begins to be useful. Sarah had long passed menopause).

Again, please help me to understand. Thanks.
