Are you careful with your mouth? Or you speak recklessly?

See the demeanor of the fool: 

•    Pro 18:6,7 -> “A fool's lips walk into a fight, and his mouth invites a beating. A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to his soul.”.

And how does he do this?

1 – They use their lips to utter words with the intention of hurting the soul:

•    Pro 12:18 -> “There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”.

2 – They, being dishonest, spread strife, gossip and slander:

•    Pro 16:28 -> “A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.”.

3 – They state real facts with the intention of stirring up bad feelings and quarrel:

•    Psa 52:1,2 -> “To the choirmaster. A Maskil of David, when Doeg, the Edomite, came and told Saul, “David has come to the house of Ahimelech.”
Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man? The steadfast love of God endures all the day. Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.”

4 – They plot destruction through the manipulation of the words (including in regard to innocents, when they talk against them – Amos 5:10).

Psa 64:3 -> “who whet their tongues like swords, who aim bitter words like arrows, shooting from ambush at the blameless, shooting at him suddenly and without fear.”. 

So, let’s take care of our soul so that, when we get mad at someone, we don’t act like a wicked:

•    Pro 26:20,21 -> “For lack of wood the fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases. As charcoal to hot embers and wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome man for kindling strife.”.
•    Lev 19:16  You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am the LORD.

If, with your words (and even acts), you got entangled with your neighbor, obey this:

•    Lev 19:17 -> “You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. 
•    Mat 5:25,26 -> “Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.”.

So, have a good day taking care of your mouth (and actions) so that you don’t be entangled in the sin of the people around you:

•    Pro 6:1,2 -> “if you are snared in the words of your mouth, caught in the words of your mouth, then do this, my son, and save yourself, for you have come into the hand of your neighbor: go, hasten, and plead urgently with your neighbor.”.
