Sixth characteristic of the wicked: the imagination of their heart is evil from their youth (see Genesis 8.21).
 
•    “A worthless person, a wicked man …  perversity is in his heart; *he is always planning mischief*; he causes fighting.” (Proverbs 6.12,14).

Many times we envy the wicked because, apparently, nothing bad comes about them (see Psalms 73.1-16; Habakkuk 1.1-4; Malachi 2.17; 3.13-15). Nonetheless, do not fret yourself with evil doers; and do not be envious against the workers of iniquity (Psalms 37.1), because:

•    “Woe to those who plot wickedness and prepare evil on their beds! When the morning is light they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.” (Micah 2.1).

Thus:

•    “If you have done foolishly in lifting yourself up, or if you have thought evil, lay your hand on your mouth. Surely the churning of milk brings forth butter, and the wringing of the nose brings forth blood; so the forcing of wrath brings forth fighting.” (Proverbs 30.32-33).

Furthermore, before you planning something, recall:

•    “A man's heart plans his way, but Jehovah directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16.9)
•    “O Jehovah, I know that the way of man does not belong to man; it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.” (Jeremiah 10.23).
•    “The plans of the heart belong to man; But the answer of the tongue is from Jehovah.” (Proverbs 16.1).

Finally, have a dreamy day living the Jesus’ plans for you (Psalms 25.14).
