What to do when a leader gets angry with us?

•    Pro 20:2 -> “The terror of a king is as the roaring of a lion: He that provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own life.”.
•    Pro 19:12 -> “The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; But his favor is as dew upon the grass.”.

As it is the roaring of a lion?

•    Amo 3:4 -> “Does a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Does a young lion cry out from his den, if he has taken nothing? 

That is to say: the lion roars after it gets a prey. 

When a leader gets angry, the person against who they are angry are their prey: if they can, they will do whatever is in their power to suck the person until the last drop of blood. The only thing that someone in authority pursuant to the molds of this world can bring is sword (condemnation, nemesis and death):

•    Rom 13:3,4  -> “For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 
•    Pro 16:14  -> “A king's wrath is a messenger of death, and a wise man will appease it.”.

Hence Amos said:

•    Amo 3:8 -> “The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken; who can but prophesy?” 

Although the roaring of a lion symbolizes that he already caught its prey, the loud noise is sufficient for other people to fear (such as it is, to other people, the wrath of a leader).

In spite of this, the Holy Scripture advice é:

•    Ecc 10:4 -> “If the anger of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your place, for calmness will lay great offenses to rest. 

But how, with so great fear? Approaching of the love in person:

•    1Jn 4:18 -> “There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love.”.

And I hope that all of us do this extempore, without needing that the Lord roars:

•    Hos 11:10,11 -> “They shall go after the LORD; he will roar like a lion; when he roars, his children shall come trembling from the west; they shall come trembling like birds from Egypt, and like doves from the land of Assyria, and I will return them to their homes, declares the LORD.”.

So, have a good day straining to find Jesus, the Wisdom in person (Col 2:3). After all:

•    Pro 8:36 -> “but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.”.
