I have no idea if Roe v. Wade is going to be overturned and handed over to the individual states to determine for themselves or not.

All I know is that a leak, supposedly from Justice Alito's alleged majority opinion, has been found in various news sources.

All I know is that November mid-term elections are coming up and either 34 or 35 Senate seats are up for grabs and, correct me if I am wrong, but all 435 House seats are open.  There is certainly a great possibility for flips.

To me, this leak is for the purpose of stirring up the hornet's nest.  Getting people all in a stir.  Those supporting abortion and those opposing abortion.  Get those two groups in a whirlwind of hate for each other to keep them focused on politics.

Focused. On. Politics. Via. A. Heart. of. Hate. For. Each. Other

Once you have people so emotionally charged to the point of the grinding of teeth and the raising of blood-pressure, they are putty in your political hands.  Left and Right.  Non-Believer and Christian.  Both Sides.

I'm not on the left at all, so I will not speak here to or about them.  I do acknowledge that there is a wide spectrum of being "on the left."

I'd like to say something to those of us on the right.  And again, there is a spectrum of those of us on the right - far right to middle.  I'm more towards the middle.  More like an independent than Republican.

While I am vehemently opposed to abortion on religious grounds, I also believe the following:

I'll be succinct here:

  • There have been ever-so-sadly 60-65 million abortions since Roe v. Wade.  60-65 million unwanted, unborn babies.  Granted a huge minority of those may have been for 10-year-olds or teens or adults having been raped or the extremely rare ectopic pregnancy, but all in all, these babies were unwanted.  The overturning of Roe v. Wade and the handing over of the decision about abortion to each state WILL NOT MAKE these future babies WANTED or CARE FOR!  Hearts will NOT change with the stroke of a political pen.  How are the people of those states, like mine who will possibly not allow abortion, going to help these young girls and women with babies they do not want and that their families do not want and/or who do not have the financial resources, mental resources, or life resources to care for children?  What are we going to do?  What should we be doing now and what should we have BEEN doing for decades?

  • I am pro-life.  Most of you are also pro-life.  Now, I don't judge here and I certainly don't speak to you with a self-imposed halo on my head, because I can't.  However, pro-life should go FAR BEYOND pro-birth.  Conservative and Christian people SHOULD be pro-life, but that should mean so much more than being opposed to abortion.  Churches and Christians and conservative groups should be places and people that those who are pregnant with NO help should be able to run TO and not run AWAY from in shame.  My state, Louisiana, did some research several years ago.  It was found that at least 60% of women/girls who had abortion FELT coerced by the father, grandparents, and doctors.  I've KNOWN women who are coerced, kicked out of the house, dropped by the baby daddy.  Also, these should be places that women who have had abortions who later regret their decision should be able to run TO for comfort and counsel.  I've counseled some of these myself and they are in dire need of comfort, an understanding of God's forgiveness, and God's love.

  • Pro-life does not mean pro-birth only.  It means pro-LIFE.  All of life.  All people.  Not all behaviors, but all people.  And most of all, pro-life means pro-love of God for fellow humanity.  Those like you and those polar opposite from you.  You don't have to love their lifestyle choices and you are free to express your views in a way that makes yourself clear, but also does not hide your love for others nor promote hatred.  Unfortunately, this happens all the time.  Both sides are so BLASTED headstrong in making sure that the "other side" KNOWS their disdain for them, that they cannot show concern, comfort, or love of any kind.  And WHO CARES if you hold a certain opinion about a certain lifestyle behavior if it causes you to hate people or if that's all people can see IN and FROM you is hate?  Hate is an abomination before a holy God just as all the other sins in the world.

  • We seem to be really good at posting things on social media that expresses our hatred for people.  Not just their behaviors that we don't like or believe in, but the people themselves.  I see it all the time.  And I get so sad.

Whether Roe v. Wade is overturned or not.  Whether the individual states will make that determination or not.  The right, especially the Christian right, MUST re-define pro-life to include those mothers who have abortions, those what want abortions, boyfriends, husbands, and grandparents who turn their backs on pregnant women, gay people, Muslim people, Hindu people, atheists, drunks, and many other kinds of "those" people.

I'm not trying to fuss at the conservatives and allow full reign of hatred from the left.

I can't teach the left, the non-believer, or those who support abortion in this post.  But I do hope they will take note.

Stand firm on your beliefs, standards, and principals. Make sure they are valid beliefs, standards, and principals.

But if we hold tight to those beliefs, standards, and principals and make no room for helping people, loving people, and turn your back on those who need your help, aid, and comfort, then those beliefs, standards, and principals are unworthy, unbiblical, and count for nothing.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
