The marriage is to make complete the boy and the girl?

Most of the people believe in it. Nonetheless, let’s think: when Adam was created, he was incomplete (missing, for instance, some organ)? Certainly not. And we can see this when the woman was created:

•    Gen 2:21,22 -> “So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.”.

The Creator didn’t make the woman in order to supply an organ which was missing in him. On the contrary: he took one of his ribs to make the woman.

It comes the question: after this, Adam stayed with minus one rib? He became imperfect with the marriage?

Well, let’s see the creation of the man:

•    Gen 1:27 -> “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”.
•    Gen 5:1,2  -> “This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.”.

As we see in Genesis 2, the man was created first than the woman. Nonetheless, in the verses above, we can read that the Creator made man and woman in the same day and called them by the name of the man. How can we sort out this?

There is only one explanation: the Creator made Adam complete, but with plus one rib: Eve. When the Creator made Eve, He took away this rib that there was in excess.

And this is the principle of the marriage: overflow what there is in affluence inside (as we can see in Psalms 23:5).

Tomorrow, we will speak more about it. For the nonce, have a good day seeking your elation in Jesus and overflowing all this abundance in the life of your spouse, children, etc. Don’t be a leech trying to suck what people has of best. After all:

•    Pro 12:12 -> “Whoever is wicked covets the spoil of evildoers, but *the root of the righteous bears fruit*.”.

Fun fact #1 women do not have more ribs then men. That is a myth. Both men and women have an equal # of ribs.

Fun fact #2 this doesnt discredit the Bibles account as Ribs, unlike every other bone in the body actually grow back. Who knew.

So God didnt make adam with plus 1 rib. He made Adam with 12 pairs like every other single human being that came after him including Eve.
