What is the importance of the steadfast love to the leadership (including government)?

•    Pro 20:28 -> “Steadfast love and faithfulness preserve the king, and by steadfast love his throne is upheld.”.
•    Psa 21:7 -> “For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved.”.
•    Isa 16:5 -> “then a throne will be established in steadfast love, and on it will sit in faithfulness in the tent of David one who judges and seeks justice and is swift to do righteousness.””.

Steadfast love seems not to have anything to do with political and legal system. After all, we are used to seeing the government making use of the enforcement in order to compel people to fulfill the laws that they imposed. The more the government is rich in weapons, the more stable it looks to be. Nonetheless, try to enthrall people at this way implies in revolt, hatred and in many injustice (after all, nobody knows all the truth (1Cor 13:9); not to mention that many laws are unfair, most of the judges, district attorneys and lawyers are corrupt).

And the Holy Scripture is clear:

•    Pro 16:12 -> “It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness.”.

Furthermore, we can’t let of mentioning that the legal process is very expensive (and, obviously, inaccessible to the poor). And the Holy Scripture warns:

•    Pro 29:14 -> “If a king faithfully judges the poor, his throne will be established forever.”.

But, what is the importance of the steadfast love and faithfulness in the government?

•    Pro 16:6 -> “By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD one turns away from evil.”.

The true government needs to keep the order, not by the terror of the nemesis, inasmuch as:

•    1John 4:18 -> “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”.

The true leadership aims to recover the sinner, manifest Jesus Christ to them. In the Old Testament, the order was kept by cruel punishments:

•    Deu 13:5 -> “But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.”.
•    Deu 17:7 -> “The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.”.
•    Deu 17:12  -> “The man who acts presumptuously by not obeying the priest who stands to minister there before the LORD your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.”.
•    Deu 19:19 -> “then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.”.
•    Deu 21:21 -> “Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
•    Deu 22:22 -> “If a man is found lying with the wife of another man, both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.
•    Deu 22:23,24 -> “If there is a betrothed virgin, and a man meets her in the city and lies with her, then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbor's wife. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.
•    Deu 24:7 -> “If a man is found stealing one of his brothers of the people of Israel, and if he treats him as a slave or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.”.

The target of all nemesis was purged the evil from their midst. And I ask you: Did this work? If you have doubt, research into all the history and try to find a kingdom who worked perfectly through the juridical and political system.

As Paul instructed us to pray for the authorities (1Ti 2:1,2), may the verse below be our pray:

•    Psa 61:7 -> “May he be enthroned forever before God; appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him! ”.

So, have a good day praising Jesus thus:

•    Psa 101:1 -> “I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will make music.”.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
