Genesis 15:1 >

"After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, 'Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.'" (Genesis 15:1)

So, here the LORD says that He is Abram's "reward".

From this, I see that God Himself is our reward.

It can be like how a little child can love to do chores with Daddy, because the child so loves Daddy. Daddy is the reward, then, of the child doing chores.

And, like this, while we do things with God, we have God who is so good and kind, as our reward for doing what He has us doing with Him in His love.

Our Apostle Paul says >

"But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

So, from this I see that when a person becomes saved, he or she is spiritually joined to God Himself in the person. And I think this goes with how Jesus said Paul would turn sinners "from the power of Satan to God" > in Acts 26:18. When a person, then, trusts in Jesus, the person is brought to God Himself who is so good and kind and loving.

So, to me this means God is the reward of becoming a child of God. And this is very personal, right in the person, so the person is actually "one spirit with" God Himself. And in this union, God is almighty to keep this union from being broken.

So, we can see that having God as our reward is a package deal. We do not only have Him in theory as a belief, with Him at some distance waiting for us to get to Him somehow after doing things He wants us to do in this life. But, right now, already, we in Jesus have God in actual union with us, and in this union with God we have how His grace almighty affects our character.

And how does our Father desire to effect our character? > to change us to become like His own Son Jesus.

And if we are like Jesus, we can love like Jesus. So, this comes with God being our reward . . . now . . . so personal right in our new character and almighty to do this.

So, thank You so much, our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Your own Son.

I would say the Life of Christ that we are given is the life of God's love in the Holy Spirit. And this eternal life is in Jesus who is in us.

Do you think I got this right?

Plus . . . if Jesus is begotten of our Heavenly Father, in Acts 13:33 Paul seems to be saying that Jesus existed before He was begotten, meaning before He was brought to life, out of the grave.

But I think there can be more than one meaning . . . in God's word . . . of Jesus being begotten. So, what do you mean?

I don't mean to interfere with anyone who is going a little bit off-topic, here, but > about God being our reward almighty and personal >

Right now, while we do things with God, we can be enjoying God who is so kind and good and beautifully wonderful and pleasant in love. And this love is Heaven's love, now, in us.

But it seems there are people who only or mainly talk about enjoying Heaven later . . . after they die. But we now, in Jesus, already have our God of Heaven "in our hearts" sharing with us His own love >

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

If God is personally sharing His own love with us > right "in our hearts" > and if this is Heaven's own love with Heaven's quality of pleasant rest caressing us . . . we feel this, we experience this and enjoy the LORD so. But this is not only a feeling, of course, but experiencing reality of how God is in His love.

So, while we do things with God in this love, we are already being rewarded by God Himself in His own love, right while we submit to Him and do what He has us doing to love people.

And this love is almighty >

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment." (in 1 John 4:18)

There are plenty of people who have suffered in fear and worry and the "torment" of such cruel and dominating stuff. And they have not been strong enough to fight that stuff off. But here we have how God's love "casts out fear" with its "torment". Because God is almighty, so His love is almighty to do this easily and breezily and beautifully.

This is personal, within us, and this is almighty, and I would call this a good and very present reward for doing things with God in His love >

"Let all that you do be done with love." (1 Corinthians 16:14)

No not the “life of God’s love”, the Life of Christ Jesus is what was given, who is the Word of God made flesh. If one is born of the Holy Spirit, and God is a Spirit of which Paul also teaches that one is a temple hence the indwelling, one should understand that the Presence of God (the Holy Spirit) gives Life, heals Life, and restores Life, also the Word of God gives Life, heals Life, and restores Life. So God gave His Word which is begotten of Him therefore the Father who loves the fulfillment of His Word. So the Word is of God therefore begotten of God, so then is the Beloved Son of God that is Life, can give the Life the Word of God has, which is a sonship with the Father in the Presence of God (the Holy Spirit).

The three that are One is simple to understand. All life God has made or given is what it is, has presence and expresses itself in its presence. So, in God’s case there is God also Elohim meaning amongst other things Creator and Judge, which is what He is, has Presence (the Holy Spirit) and in His Presence, He speaks or expresses Himself also known as the Word of God. Therefore, the Creator and Judge is God to all that are not God, the Holy Spirit is God to all that are not God, and God’s Word is God to all that are not God, and one is not without the others therefore have the power of God. Just as you are you to all that are not you, your presence in the flesh is you to all that are not you, and your words are you to all that are not you. And if you have any power or authority then you, your presence, and your word have that power and or authority you have.

so when John states:

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

he explains the first three verses:

Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (God)
Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (God's Presence within His creation)
Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (God expresses His will in His Presence in His creation to His creation)

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God,

and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

What does it mean to know someone? How can we quantify such a claim?

When someone you truly know calls you on the phone, (i.e. someone you cannot see),

and they say, "it's me". They expect you to know them by their voice.

John 10:

27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;

neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Shemah=to hearken, to listen and obey. This is to know Him.

This is to have eternal life, Today.

Hebrews 3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear His Voice,

harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
