The only silver lining in this illness I have is that I have dropped 55 lbs in 6 months without trying. I can eat like a horse and not gain weight. Its just like when I was a kid. Doublemeat bacon and cheesburgers from Sonic. Large tator tots. Basically as much as I want and I still can't peak over 175 lbs. I was at 230 last December.

Have you ever noticed it's the skinny ones that talk about the weigh of others. My husband does that. It makes me crazy. He's always pointing the finger at someone who is overweight. He's 6'0 and weighs 165. He could eat all day and not gain a pound. Makes me sick.

My 26 yr old son, married, with 3 small children, weighs in at 125 lbs and he is 6'0" tall, too. And, he eats like a horse. I keep telling him that one day it will catch up with him. He works construction, so he is physically active all the time.

I was always slender until I hit my 50's. I sit most of the time for what I do, too, so I have to make it a point to exercise. It's been raining every day for the past week, but once it dries up my husband and I will resume our nightly walks. We both need to shed a few pounds, and we need to be physically fit. He sits at a desk all day, too.

BTW - where's the spell check with this new setup? I can't find it.
