we had a light dusting a couple of weeks ago here in Oklahoma.   We don't get a lot of snow.   4 inches is big for us.   However we do get vicious ice storms that damage a lot of things and very occasional temperatures well below 0 ºF     Damages a lot of trees and power linesIMG_0628.jpg.f87e118154c960bbcaed7988c710935a.jpg

This tree did survive, however it developed Dutch Elm disease later and we had to remove both of them because they were dying.  They were 76 years old, same age as me.

I see. I thought it was more snow in Oklahoma. I like the snow 🌨 ❄️ 🌨️, but it has a few challenges when it comes to walking and driving 🚘 etc. We got another snow shuffle (I don't know if that's the right name of it) today, so tomorrow (possibly) we can both shuffle the yard together. 😊

Wow! That's a good age for a tree (and a man?). Pity you had to move them, though.

We had snow a couple of weeks ago in arizona. One of the ski resorts opened last week for the winter.

I am not so much a fan of snow. I moved from the desert to the mountains to help my folks out. Last winter I fell and couldnt get up. Fortunately, praise the Lord, my neighbor heard me yelling and got another neighbor to help me up. I fractured my big toe. Im nervous about this winter. Ok beyond nervous. Scared of snow.

We had our first snow a couple weeks ago, around an inch. It's new for me, Kansas actually gets snow, where I'm from (Louisiana) rarely got snow ever.

Being a bit further north we got our first snow in town in early November. Our mine site is several hundred metres higher than town so we have had it here for a while.

Just before sunrise, November 14:

I didn't know that it could snow 🌨 in Arizona, as I've assumed it was too hot there all the year round.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident on the snow, and I quite understand you, as the snow has some challenges. I used to not like the white winter weather so much, until last year. Now I do enjoy it, except for the shuffle part, slippery road etc.
