What is meant by Biblical archaeology? Successful digs based on the Biblical records or like what @Alive mentioned, confirmation of Biblical records through "secular" archaeological digs.

If you buy a book called, "Halley's Bible Handbook" it's a commentary that goes chapter by chapter, and within its pages are hundreds of archaeological finds that connect the passage together.

Also, you may be interested in the Archaeology Bible which details every nook and cranny of the Scriptures to what they've discovered.

For me, I'm always fascinated how archaeological discoveries coincide with what government leaders are supposed to do.

So it was November 12, 2020 ...

Before it actually happened ... Israel discovered this ...

Where it happened was in Arad, a city I've lived for over 20 years.

This is the only High Place from the days of the Kingdom of Judah.  We read that King Hezekiah buried this high place and that's how it was so well perserved.  However, later we read in the Bible that Josiah destroyed all the high places ... why was Arad not destroyed?  Because the high place in Arad was already buried, but archaeologists didn't really understand why!  However, it appears the King found out about their "incense" towers were really a place where people were getting "high" and so he buried it.

God reveals what man is supposed to do oftentimes with archaeological finds just as events are taking place in the world!

The finding of Hezekiah's seal ranks way up there.
