Here is set of verses about the nature of Jesus to paint a complete picture.

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Colossians 2:9 - For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,1 Timothy 3:16
By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness:
He who was revealed in the flesh,
Was vindicated in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Proclaimed among the nations,
Believed on in the world,
Taken up in glory

Philippians 2:6-8 - who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Yes.  My view is very mainline and orthodox in this.  It is a view held by most that bear the name Christian.

Realizing that Jesus said GOD is a Spirit, I was looking at the difference between His Deity and His Divinity:

 

That bad translation bugs me -- those translators knew better:  Jesus said "God is spirit", not "a" spirit.  The grammar is the same as in John 1, "The Word was God"... not "a" god.
