Think for a moment: We're talking about DANIEL'S people, the JEWS! "The children of thy people!" For the last 2,000 years, since 70 A.D., they have SUFFERED at the hands of the Romans and the Goths and the Spanish Inquisitions and the Crusades and the Russian Pogroms and the German Holocaust and the Ottoman Empire and the Arab nations surrounding the Land of Israel and the parcelling off of their land by the Brittish Parliament and its armed forces and recently by all the terrorist bombings and shellings by the Hamas in the Gaza Strip, by the Hezbollah in Lebanon, by the Palestinians in the West Bank, by the Muslim Brotherhood, by ISIL in Iran, by ISIS in Syria, and the list never seems to end!

Daniel 9:24-27, Seventy Literal Weeks Explained "Future"?

Daniel's 70 weeks are literal 7 day periods, or 490 literal days.

If Daniel meant 490 years he would have written

(Four Hundred Ninety Years)

Daniel had no restrictions in "Writing" exact numerology as seen below.

Below in Daniel 10:2-3 we see just another example of Daniel's literal weeks, as Daniel mourned and fasted for 3 literal weeks or 21 days.

Below in Daniel 9:24-27 we see 70 literal "Future" weeks or 490 days.

When the "Future" call/commandment goes out in Jerusalem to build unto the Jewish Meshiach/Messiah that they wait for (They Denied Jesus Christ) this will start the 7 week period in preparing to build.

62 literal weeks will be in building, and Meshiach/Messiah will be cut off by the  armies surrounding Jerusalem, this stops the building.

The 70th literal week will see (The Antichrist) revealed in making a covenant, and in the middle of this literal week he proclaims to be Meshiach/Messiah God to the Jews, and Jesus returned to the apostate church, to start a Millennium on earth.

The 3.5 year tribulation starts at this time.

Impossible. The "tribulation" has been going on for 2,023 A.D. - 70 A.D. = 1,953 years! The only way that's possible is if the two witnesses are some of the original disciples and have been around that long!

You have a knack for pulling verses out of context and using them for your own interpretations. For instance, in most (all) situations, the "If any man have an ear, let him hear" comes AFTER to what one is supposed to pay attention! The context is,
