I am not a weather junkie... but I am sure that is the case.  We get lots of rain from the Pacific as well, from the due west.

I have always said...  easiest job in the world is to be a weather forecaster in WA state.

@Gabriel80 Like..... "If you can see Puget Sound, it's going to rain; if you can't see Puget Sound, it's raining already...."

PS: @Gabriel80 "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55.10-11)

That's a good word.

I complain about the rain... I do... but I know somewhere else they are complaining of the sun beating on them.

And that is my human nature to complain about God's blessings (unfortunately.)   I came from the south east so it's been a hard transition.

Saw a lady on our news who first saw Jackie when she was a chick or young Eagle.

She said the nest is five and a half feet wide and six feet deep!

But for a little nighttime maintenance, fluffing softer material, and settling eggs in a little deeper, all's quiet .

Amazing how much weight those nests get built up into. I would have thought it impossible for a tree to sustain such weight, anywhere from one to three tons. Tons, that's like setting a car up in a tree.
