Scripture doesn't say Moses body was taken to heaven. Jude seems to indicate that Michael buried the body. We know people didn't. He also hasn't been resurrected yet. He appeared with Elijah with Jesus, but that was in spirit form. People have been temporarily resurrected only to die again. The first resurrection will be the dead in Christ moments before the rapture.

Actually, the FIRST resurrection was the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Acts 23:26 -  that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”

There are many accounts of people being raised from the dead, with several from the OT.  But acts 26:23 tells us that Jesus is the FIRST to rise from the dead.  So, that means all other rising from the dead do not include the glorified immoral bodies that Paul described in 1 Cor 15.  All those who were raised from the dead died again.  Even Lazarus.

We know that "those who belong to Him", which means ALL believers of all time, will be resurrected "when He comes", a refernce to the Second Advent.

1 Cor 15:23 -  But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

Thank You. You are of course correct. I misspoke. Jesus was the 1st resurrection. Thank you for reminding me.

Speaking about resurrection, Elijah has raised the widow's child from death, Jesus has raised Jarius daughter and Lazarus, Enoch was taken alive to heaven and translated into immortality.

Peter offered to make tents for Elijah and Moses because they were really alive, although Moses and Elijah who might be the two Witnesses of Revelation shall be defeated by the beast from bottom less pit, his arrival in the great tribulation has shown that Moses has been resurrected.

OUT FROM THE DEAD.

Jesus was the first to RISE UP OUT FROM THE PLACE OF THE DEAD.

The place that those who died WITH A SIN UNDER THE LAW WENT TO PAY THE WAGES....

Those having received GRACE through their FAITH, NEVER DIED, NEVER went to THE PLACE OF THE DEAD,

and so were resurrected at the death of the 1ST body, the earth flesh body, the AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, the corrupt body now going back to dust, never to rise again, having been sown and produced the seed that God gives a body to, PROBABLY at the judgment seat of Christ when we RECEIVE the things done in the body, aka and their works do follow them.

Paul GAVE WAY MORE THAN JUST A HINT with "IN WHAT BODY DO THEY COME"?

Anyone ever NOTICE that the QUESTION of WITH OR WITHOUT a body didn't come up in the ENTIRE CHAPTER?  As a matter of FACT it is also WRITTEN

how would the 'Bereans' read this?

It is sown a natural body it is raised a spiritual body....AND it is raised in GLORY, and power...so OBVIOUSLY no need to COME BACK to the 'PLACE OF THE DEAD' to

BE RAISED YET AGAIN... HAVING ALREADY BEEN RAISED TO HEAVEN ONCE...

AKA BECAUSE they NEVER DESCENDED to pay the wages or 'penalty' for sin, aka going to the place of the dead, after the 1st body died (died BECAUSE 'as in Adam' all die their 'bodies' had an 'expiration date' that couldn't be stopped because of the sentence pronounced for disobedience "...for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

PROOF from what is written

2And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

4And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

5And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

6Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

as SPOKEN BY JESUS

34And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

35But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

37Now that the dead are raised,

even Moses shewed at the bush,

when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

WHEN DOES IT SAY THE DEAD ARE RAISED?  NOW.  ALREADY.  HAD ALREADY BEEN HAPPENING.

So they didn't really 'die' or weren't really 'dead', even then, they had just moved on in their a "IN RESURRECTION...like the angels in heaven...spiritual body".

It's Acts 26:23, not 23:26 as first stated. Second mention above is correct.

The Shunammite's son and Lazarus were raised from the dead before Christ, but not in permanent victory over death itself, the which Christ is the first in both experience and eminence.

As Moses body was taken to heaven by angel Michael

What are you saying is not quite clear...

Why the talk is only about his body....how about his soul? Why you do not day anything about his soul?

You know very well that there were no witnesses on the mountain with Moses...that Moses went alone on the mountain....

It was not the same thing with Aaron who went on the mountain together with his Son and Moses...and he died there...and they mourn for Aaron and they buried his body infront of thousands witnesses.

Moses went on the mountain alone...there was no witnesses.

Moses and Elijah might be the coming 2 Witnesses of Revelation 11 in the great tribulation which proofs that Moses has been resurrected.

@Free grace

Acts 26:23 tells us that Jesus is the FIRST to be resurrected.   that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”

This means that EVERY "rising from the dead" before Jesus' resurrection did NOT include an immortal glorified body.  Jesus received the FIRST glorified body.  And all believers are promised a body like that of Jesus, so NO ONE has yet received a glorified body.

The Bible tells us clearly WHEN believers will receive a glorified immortal body.

1 Cor 15:23 -  But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him

Red words refers to the FIRST resurrection with a glorified body.

Blue words refer to the Second Advent of Jesus Christ.

Purple words refer to ALL believers in Christ.  Or ALL saved people.

Point, please.

No, Jesus paid the debt on the cross.  For everyone.

No.  The souls of ALL believers in the OT, before Christ's death on the cross and resurrection, went to Sheol or Hades.  Called Paradise and Abraham's boson.  Luke 16.  To say believers "never died" is extremely naive.  Of course they did.  Lazarus literally DIED before Jesus raised him from the dead.

They would read it the way it was written.  The "natural body" refers to the physical body.  The "spiritual body" refers to the resurrection glorifed immortal body.  Of course no believer will "come back to the place of the dead".  What are y0u even talking about?  Who do you know says this?

This is very confused.  Before Christ's resurrection, ALL saved people went to Sheol/Hades.  Read Luke 16.  Jesus told us of 2 people who died and WENT to Hades.

Yes, the resurrection body that will be given to all believers is a "spiritual body", glorified, immortal.
