Well now that ,for me & every Christian,is the problem .. people become complacent,tolerant and compromising when society accepts as " a matter of fact' that that's just " how it is....just because everyone is doing it. Just because so many young people can dress however they like or get to decide what gender they would prefer to be is the way it is....just because parents use the internet to keep their children entertained instead of actually parenting is a matter of fact- homosexuals have shoved their life style in everyone's faces for so long that society has a accepted it as matter of fact- well,as a matter of fact God is the Same yesterday,today & forevermore,His Will & His Word Does NOT change and there isn't room for compromise .... There is that truth regarding the convictions of fellow believers and offense. However the sin there would not be in the doing the act but the causing someone to stumble.  For instance if you wore it to a ball game, probably no problem, if you were fine with it yourself.  But you probably would not want to wear it to some holiness churches, where jewelry is looked down upon. I am a pastor and I remember as a young preacher visiting a church that was not my home church.  The pastor there had some very strict views about a man having long hair. Now I did not have very long hair so it did not bother me personally. But while he was preaching I happened to look directly behind him at the picture of Jesus on the wall. Guess what?  Yep, long hair as most pictures of Jesus have. Now I don’t care at all if he wants to have that conviction, but don’t be a hypocrite.
