For the Torah observant, Abraham's charge is the covenant sign in the flesh.

Genesis 17:13 He who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money

must be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

Abraham's charge for those who walk by faith came before,

and was established while still uncircumcised.

Romans 4:9-12 Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness. How then was it accounted? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are uncircumcised, that righteousness might be imputed to them also, and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised.

What is Abraham's charge then, for those who walk in the faith of Abraham?

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive

as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

Genesis 12:1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred,

and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Mark 10:

28 Then Peter began to say to Him, See, we have left all and followed You.

29 So Jesus answered and said, Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers

or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s,

30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers

and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.

31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

Matthew 10:

37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter

more than Me is not worthy of Me.

38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

Abraham was the first person i can think of that "got out of the boat" or his comfort zone as they say. But i have also heard preachers who said its sometimes safer and wiser to stay in the boat and not take any chances or make hasty decisions. Such as when Paul and the 276 men in that storm in Acts-27, when he said unless they stayed in the boat they would all perish, but maybe thats not a good analogy? Either way i only bring this up because of a major life decision/move i need to make soon, if not right NOW? But am still really confused over what to do as if maybe God is telling me to wait a little longer but at times i feel like i have already waited too long and it's the reason i cant hear from God anymore because of disobedience? But what Abraham did was not easy at all and i know it must have taken some courage even if he did have a very clear "charge" order from God.

Daniel 10:19  And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not!

Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!”

So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said,

“Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord

and in the power of His might.

May your prayers centered on these Words of the Spirit give you

the wisdom and the steadfast commitment to follow through,

for with the Lord, no word is without power.

Thanks so much for those words of encouragement, but really it is me who should be giving those same words to someone else, perhaps many other people, and sadly to say i may have wasted that chance thus far, as i feel i could have helped many others in worst situations than myself...i only PRAY that God would/will give me the resources NOW to make that happen, so i can help anyone in anyway that God wanted/wants me to, period. And some may not really know or realize fully what i am talking about and that there only "duty" is to plant a seed of truth or share Gods word and promises, which is great in itself, but i believe there are others that HE is asking much more of, including myself. And i only want to do now whatever HE asks of me, as long as i can. Just pray that others here and everywhere else would answer that "call" as well...thanks.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
