People are not killed for refusing the mark. They are killed for testifying of Christ and being watchmen and warning the people to repent as instructed to do so in God's word. Revelation 20 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. These disciples of Christ do as Jesus instructs in the gospel and testify of him before men. I agree they do not worship the beast nor do they take the mark but that's not why they are killed.They are killed because they preached the gospel just as Jesus was killed for preaching the gospel. As Jesus preached for 3.5 years so will they. I've been trying to show that Jesus says these saints are persecuted in Israel while receiving much argument.They follow the lamb where he has gone.Thing is,the lamb didn't travel the world.He traveled through the cities of Israel and he died there. Isaiah 14:2 The nations will escort Israel and bring it to its homeland. Then the house of Israel will possess the nations as menservants and maidservants in the LORD’s land. They will make captives of their captors and rule over their oppressors. It's as if God knew all along who he would test and who would overcome. The 12 apostles are not the only ones to be sent to the lost sheep of the house of israel and the 12 apostles are not around till the end. Someone else is.
