Although I believe the KJV is keeping the meat of His words that modern Bibles do not, I know it is not a perfect Bible, but on those cases where the KJC could have done better at, the modern bibles do not address and sometimes they make it worse than how the KJV has it.

The one example that modern Bibles did not address is Revelation 3:5 where the Greek word "ov un" from where the English word "not" was translated from, is a double negative, meaning, Jesus would never do that to any one in removing their name form the Book of Life.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Opposing contention cite the Revelation 22:19 but that is about removing his initial inheritance in having a home in that City of God; rather than his name.

Revelation 20:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

None of the modern bibles has clarified that "not" in Revelation 3:5 as being a double negative and yet we have many believing they can lose their salvation because of that portion in that verse in Revelation 20:19.

How do I know I am applying His words rightly in Revelation 3:5?

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.  KJV

I am fairly sure all other modern Bibles has kept this truth, but there it is in the KJV.

But when it is not that clear in Revelation 3:5, believers tend to think otherwise that the name can be taken out too because of Revelation 22:19.

Thing is, Jesus said the name will not be taken out and specified that it is the part that shall be taken away out of the Book of Life as I apply that towards no longer having that place to live in the City of God.

The KJV does not teach error, but just addressing where the KJV could have done better in translating from the Greek that other modern Bibles has failed to do in "better English " while supposedly translating from the Greek to get their copyright for that modern Bible.

God be willing, I shall address

next a scriptural reference that modern Bibles did not address and indeed, got worse at, as if translating from the KJV Bible instead rather than from the Greek.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Textus Receptus Greek Text King James Bible With Strongs Dictionary  Luke Chapter 17

If you click on the last Greek word in verse 17, you will get "aetos" which is eagles or wind like flight.

If you click on that third long Greek word from the end of that verse, you will get "sunago" which is defined as following: "from sun - sun 4862 and agw - ago 71; to lead together, i.e. collect or convene; specially, to entertain (hospitably):--+ accompany, assemble (selves, together), bestow, come together, gather (selves together, up, together), lead into, resort, take in."

So there is a reception of the body of believers by wind like flight as they are being taken at the rapture event with hospitality to entertain at the Marriage Supper held in Heaven when the Bridegroom comes.

So where do some modern Bibles get "vultures" and "corpse" from?  Is it any wonder that some apply that to mean that the bad guys are being taken away as removed from the earth thus applying this towards His coming as the King of kings rather than as the Bridegroom?

In the context of the message from Luke 17:26 onward to verse 37, Jesus is citing a destruction coming on the earth for which there is to be an escape and thus a removal of the saints abiding in Him for when this happens.  He is warning believers not to treasure anything to go back to his home as if to take it with them per verse 31 and referenced what had happened to Lot's wife in verse 32 not to do that, but be willing to leave everything behind.

Now if that was the bad guys being removed, why warn believers not to do that if they are not being taken away?

Anyway, a lot of believers do not believe in the pre great tribulation rapture event, but that is not a requirement to be raptured.  What is required is to be found abiding in Him and not in unrepentant iniquity ( Luke 12:40-49 KJV1 Corinthians 3:10-17 KJVLuke 13:24-30 KJV ) and also to be willing to go ( Luke 14:15-24 KJV and not be snared by the cares of this life that you would not want to leave it ( Luke 21:33-36 KJV ).  Luke 17:26-37 above applies to the latter as well.

Anyway, the KJV should have done better in English for those Greek words whereas modern bibles did not, but made it worse to ascertain the truth in His words.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
