The same thing over here, a dozen shopping malls / plaza have become like ghost towns. The rest : Reluctant to live, to die do not want. The only shopping center that can survive are the middle to low class level offering the cheapest products, or street side vendors, or dirty traditional market. Many years ago I happened to open a shop at a cheap shopping center, with about 400 tenants. Cant afford the rental charge any more. But After Covid its Totally nonsense, i visited it last month, during working days Monday to Friday, most are just sitting and hallucinating. It looks like i was the only potential buyer walking around so lonely. Edited May 8, 2023 by R. Hartono
