They work for wood/dust particulates. I do not use them for spraying paints and lacquers, as like covid, they pass right through. Worthless, false security. I have to use an industrial mask with replaceable double filters, to prevent the VOC's, Volatile Organic Compounds. It will likely have tremendous adverse consequence long term for Canada and the USA. Smoke is merely a signal of the really expensive consequence of the losses that will drive inflation especially of construction material to new heights.
