We read in Revelation 7:2-3 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”

We see a sign of this also in Ezekiel 9:4“And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.”

Before God pours out His wrath upon the world, He will seal His servants in their forehead.

So what is being sealed, and how is it sealed? The what is shown in many ways, and the first signs of it are shown in the sign of circumcision, which Paul said was the seal of the righteousness of the faith.

But it is also shown here in Exodus 13:9And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.”

And the sign of it is also shown here in Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.”

Notice God said this outward expression was to be for a sign, meaning it would signify the greater spiritual meaning to come in Christ.

But we see it is Gods words, even the law and testimony, that is being bound and sealed in the hearts and minds of Gods disciples as shown here in
Isaiah 8:16
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.”

God writing and sealing His words on the hearts and minds of His elect was also prophesied to come in the new covenant, shown here in Jeremiah 31:31-34“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

It is also confirmed here in Hebrews 8:7-12 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”

So now that we know it is the law and the testimony of God, or the words of God that are being written on the hearts and minds of Gods elect, how is it sealed?

We are given the answer here in

2 Corinthians 1:22
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

So those who are chosen by God have His words written on their hearts and minds by way of Gods Spirit.

They have the Fathers 2 heavenly witnesses dwelling in themselves, which is God’s Word and Spirit.

John said He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself”

This is the New Covenant God said He would make with His people, not written on stone or on paper, but God writing His words upon our hearts and minds by the Spirit of the Living God.

Peace and God bless.

I think they might need to become immortal at this point. To put on immortality.

Revelation 3:12

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

I think Israel would be a good name to call someone that has overcome.

PS

The wrath of God had started in chapter 6 before the wind blows.

Everyone in Judea has fled to the mountains and are hiding in caves.

Revelation 6

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Those who are born again from above are sealed by the Holy Spirit and are given the new name while on this earth.

They also have Eternal life…

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Understood, but the sixth seal wrath is not limited to the Jews, but is also to the whole Gentile world.

There are actually 2 tribulation periods mentioned in scripture.

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;”

The first tribulation to the Jews began with AOD being set up in 70 Ad and runs all the way to the 6th seal.

The 6th seal signs mark the “fullness of the Gentiles” and the end of “the tribulation of those days,” as it pertained to the Jews.

But the 6th seal also marks the begin point of Gods wrath being poured out on the entire world.

Perhaps in the future I’ll post a thread on the topic with scripture to prove all my points.

Peace

Not the whole gentile world.

It is limited to the nation that claims to be Israel and the nations that attack Jerusalem.

Take Canada for instance.Canada is not one of the nations that attack Jerusalem so there would be no need for God to punish Canada because Egypt attacked Jerusalem.

I was.

I said.

I think they might need to become immortal at this point. To put on immortality.

If you notice the earthquake and the sky departed in chapter 6.

Both these things take place right before the last Trump on the same day ,when the mortal puts on immortality. So while the servants of the Lord are being sealed in their foreheads, they are becoming immortal.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
