Yes, for 35 years I’d amassed more doctrinal fodder than I can shake a stick at, but knowing all this, the one thing I don’t know is “why” people focus on what is not specifically focused on in scripture. Those things that Man cannot directly understand, because it is beyond his ability to understand, must be told in a manner that he can understand them within his ability to understand. This is one of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, things that we cannot know because we were not designed to know them. That's the understanding I have developed for myself during my life, other may have different understandings, each according to our own experience of life and personal development during it. I doubt if any of us are wrong, it's that blind men and the elephant thing with no one being able to feel the whole of it and trying to develop an idea of its nature by the part of it he can feel.
