Acts 20:

19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations,

which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you,

and have taught you publicly, and from house to house,

21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God,

and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Walk of Faith

Matthew 18:

15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.

If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three

witnesses every word may be established.’

17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church,

let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,

and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask,

it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me,

and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

************************************************************************

32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant!

I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.

33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant,

just as I had pity on you?’

34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers

until he should pay all that was due to him.

35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart,

does not forgive a brother his trespasses.”

****************************************************

Hebrews 6:

1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection,

not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God

2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

3 And this we will do if God permits.

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift,

and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,

5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,

6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify

again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

The Fellowship of the Saints IS the Apostolic Doctrine

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you,

that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father,

and with his Son Jesus Christ.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another,

and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Confession is made to one another in fellowship with one another, for the blood of cleansing.

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back

20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death

and cover a multitude of sins.

*******************************************************************

1 John 5:16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask,

and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death.

I do not say that he should pray about that.

17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

*********************************************************************

Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one

in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Life is found in Christ, as a part of His Body.

Any teaching that contradicts sound apostolic doctrine is but religious vanity.

Heb 5: 12-6: 2:

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

The first two of the first principals of the oracles of God, Repentance from dead works and of faith towards God would seem to be individual based, while the second two could be taken as body ministry, if we consider 1 Cor 12: 13: For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. to be the true baptism, especially when compared to the John's baptism of repentance and of water baptism as being a public declaration of what the Holy Spirit has already done in a new believer. The last two oracles would be the Church's burden for the lost that is shared with us from the Lord's own heart.

All of these are one-and-done, whereas repentance from dead works is an on-going work as we grow to spiritual maturity or when we stumble, loosing ground spiritually.  We can see this in the above passage and in Eph 5: 16-27: That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Paul is clearly not teaching that we should remove these teachings. They are foundational/elementary teachings of the gospel.  What he is saying he is, he should not have to continually teach the basics each time he comes but that they should mature in the learning so that he can teach them more advanced teachings of the gospel.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
