It is written… “the things of God “knoweth no man”, but the Spirit of God.”

Jesus also said…

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and “no man knoweth”the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth “any man” the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.”

So why would anyone seek understanding into the spiritual things of God from any man?

Seek wisdom and understanding into the words of God from God, and from Christ by FAITH.

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

You cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God unless it be “given” to you from heaven.

John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be “given”him from heaven”

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that “giveth” to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be “given”him.

But you must ask in FAITH…

But let him “ask in faith,” nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

This is interesting in that it brings to thought something I had never considered before:  Jesus spoke in terms of greater and lesser sins.

Does that also imply greater and lesser punishments -consequences- for different degrees of sinfulness?

Not just sinfulness, faithfulness.

Luke 12:

47 And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

The Son of God is the Word of God, and it is the Word of God who “reveals”to us the Father.

No man hath seen God at any time, “the only begotten Son,”which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath “declared him.”

Who being the brightness of his glory, and “the express image of his person,” and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Who is “the image”of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

We know what God is like by His Word, which is His only begotten Son…

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

Beloved ones, we heard our Lord  Jesus said:

“All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What all things are delivered unto Jesus of His Father ?

Previously we heard:

“At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because THOU HAST HID THESE THINGS from the wise and prudent, AND HAS REVEALED THEM

unto babes.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That we understand, all things are delivered unto Jesus of His Father, are REVELATIONS: that no man knoweth the Son, but the Father.

How may we understand these revelations: that no man knoweth the Son, but the Father?

If no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; we may understand these revelations through the Father that we may know the Son.

So there is not one revelation but many revelations that we may know the Son through the Father.

One of such revelations, that we heard:

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and KNOWETH me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We heard, neither knoweth any man THE FATHER, SAVE THE SON, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him.

That we understand, if we know the Father save the Son, that we to whomsoever the Son will reveal the Father.

For this we heard:

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Let us walk in newness of life, that we walk in newness of His words, for His words renews us, that be we renewed of the Holy Spirit.

Paraphrasing Matthew 11:27

That we heard, all things ( revelations) are delivered unto Jesus of His Father: that no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; that we understand, these revelations through the Father that we may know the Son.

We heard, neither knoweth any man THE FATHER, SAVE THE SON, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him.  That we understand, if we know the Father save the Son, that we to whomsoever the Son will reveal the Father.

Selah

To God the Father be all glory and thanksgiving through Christ. Amen

The things of God no man knows, but only the Spirit of God….

This is how they are “revealed”….

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

I agree StewardoftheMystery, great verses and let me affirm the ones you posted with a few more which include a few of the same ones you just posted in with these

2Cr 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the fleshyet now henceforth know we him no more.

Philip knowing Christ after the flesh (outward/visible image) verses Spirit (inward/invisible image)

Jesus  said,

John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Who is the image of the invisible God Col 1:15

And so......Yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Whereas

John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Heb 1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?
he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

Who is the express image of His person Heb 1:3 the image of the inivisible (not visible) God

Knowing him in the flesh (or rather after the flesh) and not after the Spirit is not really knowing him

Jesus changes things up and appears to the in another forum

Mark 16:12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

And here where Jesus draws near to them asking them whats up why so sad?

Luke 24:16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

And they respond as to a stranger

Luke 24:18 Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

And it come to pass in the breaking of bread they knew him

Luke 24:31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

That had to be the eyes of their understanding or their hearts that were opened as he simultaneously vanished out of their sight

Just fits in more perfectly with this verse which I just over used

2Cr 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

To know him is after his invisible/inward image not after his visible/outward/image in the flesh

They beheld the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, who is the brightness of His glory.

John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Which is by the Spirit of the Lord

2Cr 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

They confirm nicely I think.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
