PS: @Scott Free

Anyway, @debrakay is correct when she speaks - as well as about her own tattooing years ago - that for her grandchildren it's a rite of passage into adulthood.

"it seems to be a new "right of passage" into adulthood.  I would so much rather look at a nature based or spiritual tattoo than a demonic tattoo on the skin of my grandchildren."

Like, in a measured and modest, low-key way, with a girl becoming an inked up woman just as with a boy becoming an inked up man.

@farouk i remember you from other forums where almost 10 years ago you were asking about tattoos.

I'm curious, why are you so obsessed with this topic?

Thanks.

@NConly Indeed, one chooses the artist...........

Some ppl do manage to choose the place deliberately and slowly.

Yes I been thinking of another one. One that is not in the books or pictures.

With colors white, red, black, yellow, violet. And blue, orange, green, brown, slate.

Trying to come up with a pic containing these colors

Hi @sweetycakes Re. your recent comment on the other thread; did you ever consider a faith-based tattoo?

@NConly Sounds like a unique, custom made, multicolored kaleidoscope design that you may have in mind.

Sometimes military badges / logos are multicolored.

Sometimes military/patriotic tattoos will be multicolored. Not unusually there is very strong motivation behind military related tattoos among personnel and their families.

My wife has talked about this possibility, but she has said she'd have a hard time deciding what to put permanently on her body. She has been urged by other military spouses to get one.

You said back that one makes it easy for more; and when there is a military connection, sometimes the motivation for something well planned and customized can be very strong indeed.

PS: @Jayne

Further to your comments a while ago, a lot of ppl do seem to want to be under the OT law, but then cherry-pick which parts.

Although now it's also very widespread for Christians to want to do it; their being often by way of receiving faith-based ink-ups:

@Thewhitedove BTW, did you ever get or make progress with your plans for the faith-based tattoo design that you wanted?

Farouk, no I didn't. The original tattoo has my son's name in it and he was offended that I wanted to cover it! However, I now have some new inspiration that I've been thinking about lately.

'For weeping may endure the night, but joy comes in the morning.' I've really been learning about this lately and want to stamp it into my heart!
