Exodus 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

Doesn't that make you think of this?

Mat 24:48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

And they "eat and drink"

Ex 32:6 And they rose up early on the morrow**, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Paul mentions that here

1Cr 10:6 Now these things** were our examples**, to the intent we** should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

1 Cr 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written,

The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

And since it says

Heb 3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after**

The golden calf  that came out of their removal of their golden earrings (or symbolically any wise reproof upon obedient ears) and is referred to as "the works of their hands", and this is shown as burnt in the fire

Exo 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strowed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

But he still made them drink it, which does remind me a little of this

Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;

These are good! I even have a few I can add to each of the verses you posted, and perhaps in various ways as well. You just provided for a boatload of incoming with each of choice picks. I will take this one in Isaiah first because I was looking at this also in respects to Jesus Christ (the I) and the children (as sigs) the LORD hath given him (such as in the case is "all mine are thine and thine are mine") as is shown in Isaiah 8:18. Some time back trying to show these from the time of Christ upon the earth forward according to whichever verse appeared to fit them in accordingly

I removed a lot of my repeating from this but I still repeat but I think it helps establish these things in various ways when doing so

Agreed! These were for signs and wonders in Israel

Isaiah 8:18 (( Behold )) I and the children whom the LORD (( hath given )) me
are for signs and for wonders (( in )) Israel from the LORD of hosts,
which dwelleth (( in )) mount Zion.

John 6:65 And he said, (( Therefore )) said I unto you,
that no man (( can come )) unto me, except it were (( given )) unto him of my Father.

Predestined unto "the adoption of children" by Christ (unto the Father)

Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us
unto (( the adoption of children )) by Jesus Christ to himself,
according to the good pleasure of his will,

"I and the children"

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father

The "Behold, I" of Isaiah 8:18 is Jesus Christ
Who is for what He is also shown approved of God by (which is even by miracles wonders and signs) as shown here

Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by (( miracles and wonders and signs )), which God did by him (( in the midst of you )) as ye yourselves also know:

As He (and they) were for signs and wonders (( in Israel))

Jesus also said

John 10:37 If I do not ((  the works of ))my Father, believe me not. (Luke 7:22 also)

Who also said,

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me, and (( greater works )) than these shall he do;
(( because I go))  unto my Father.

The children of Isaiah 8:18 and the signs spoken of there as here

And we see...

Mark 16:20 And they (( went forth)), and preached every where, (Galatians 1:16 and Galatians 2:8) the Lord (( working with them))  and confirming the word (( with signs following. ))

Amongst the apostles Paul said likewise,

2 Corinthians 12:12 Truly (( the signs of )) an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. ( even as Christ Jesus is called an Apostle also in Hebrews 3:1)

And following the same course as shown in the Lord

Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost(( and with power)) who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God (( was with )) him. (Acts 2:22)

As with Christ, even in Paul (as with Peter) being anointed with the Holy Ghost

2 Cr 1:21-22 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Act 19:11 And God wrought (( special miracles )) by the hands of Paul:

Act 19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. (Mark 16:20 & 2 Corinthians 12:12)

Whereas again, Jesus had said,

John 10:37 If I do not (( the works of )) my Father, believe me not.

And yet again he said

John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe(( the works)) that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is (( in )) me, and I in him.

Christ in them also (Galatians 1:16 & Galatians 2:8)

John 17:23 I (( in )) them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Even as Christ was set for a sign to be spoken against also

Luke 2:34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

He was going to be spoken against in those who preached Him (Acts 13:35)

Acts 28:22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against. (1 Peter 4:14)

The sign itself is for a sign to be spoken against, which could be why Jesus said,

Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him (in contrast to speaking a word against the Holy Ghost)

1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Approved of God among them by miracles and wonders and signs (Acts 2:22, who confirmed them also which followed after him with the same (in Mark 16:20)

Paul himself called to be an apostle and likewise says,

2 Corinthians 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

And Paul also prays for them as it pertains to this calling

2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

2 Thessalonians 1:12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus prays for them (which were given him) and in whom he is glorified

John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

John 17:10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Then cut in the following (children given) him as Christ says, "all thine are mine" (even as he is given "to them" Isaiah 55:4 & Acts 2:36) showing the same between the verses following in Israel Acts 2:22, Acts 3:12, Acts 3:24-26, Acts 7:37

Isaiah 8:18 Behold I and the children whom the LORD hath given me
are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts,
which dwelleth in mount Zion
.

And as the Father sent Christ (approved of God among them) even by miracles signs, and wonders (for which Christ is for) and them also, and through Him follows the same course, sending them

John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

And the Lord works with them (shown as children) shows he confirms the word through them with signs

Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, (Galatians 1:16 and Galatians 2:8) the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

Shown in Peter

Acts 3:12... Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? (Luke 24:49)

As with Paul an apostle not of men (Galatians 1:1) where he says to them, truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among them in all the same 2 Corinthians 12:12

And so by these things Paul said,

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

I think I have another one with different verses worked in that don't take away anything but enlarge the picture as far as it pertains to Christ.

The sign of Jonah to them would be as one who was dead and buried and more of less still in their sins (as I would count it) because he shows the sign in the earth as far as him, but not hi being vomited up upon the land, does that make sense?

God bless you brother, I may post another when I have more then a moment

Good stuff!

In connection to Acts 19:12 we were given a “shadow of things to come” in both the Lord ( our High Priest) and in His “anointed priesthood,”first foreshadowed in the anointed sons of Aaron.

And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: ((whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.))
All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the Lord made by fire: every one that ((toucheth them shall be holy.))

To the Lords “anointed”….

And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and ((as many as touched were made perfectly whole.))

Matthew 9:20-22

King James Version

20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, ((and touched the hem of his garment:))

21 For she said within herself, ((If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.))

22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; ((thy faith hath made thee whole.)) And the woman was made whole from that hour.”

Same shown in Paul….

Acts 19:11-12

King James Version

11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

12 So that ((from his body))were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”

The types and shadows are everywhere for those who have been given eyes to see them.   Peace 😊

Here's a short one, farouk made me think of this one too on his earrings thread

Ex 32: 2 And Aaron said unto them,

Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

Prov 25:12

As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold,  so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

Stephen mentions Exodus 32:4 in Acts 7:41 and says

Acts 7:51

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

@AFlameOfFire Interesting.............

I think anyway that the point of earrings is not necessarily that they are inherently good or bad, but what can they teach us, as per context.....

Sorry about the double post, when I hit the submit button nothing happened, so I hit it again. 😊

That was a perfect layout between the above great job! What a refreshing thread to come back to time and again, thanks for starting it. I am going off of yours and confirming this last one. I love confirming his words in these things

Exodus 4:10 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind?

 have not I the LORD?

Exd 4:11 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth,

and teach thee what thou shalt say

Moses writes of Jesus

Deut 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth

and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Confirmed in Jesus

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment,

what I should say,  and what I should speak.

Jesus who said, It is written in the prophets they shall be all taught of God is also "the way"

Shows the LORD teaching sinners in "the way"

Psalm 25:6 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

Jesus said, I am "the way"  as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

Just as in Moses

Exd 4:11 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Moses and Aaron

Exd 4:15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

So also in Jesus and his apostles

John 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received themand have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

And Jesus also said

Luke 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

And we see in Stephen who was full of the Holy Ghost the same

Acts 6:10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

Speaking of the Spirit of your Father

Mat 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Good and upright is the LORD, shows the mouth of the upright delivering them here

Prov 12:26 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

And the Lord standing with Paul and being delivered out of the mouth of the lion

2 Ti 4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known,  and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

A mouth given pertains to the Spirit of your father. Even a mouth is given to the beast (not the Spirit of truth of course) but the same could be shown there as well.

I think the scriptures speak spiritually about more things than we can pick up all at one time, but we are always deciding if something carnally is good and or bad according to our natural reasonings / and or according to worldly man things and miss the point of them. But how many really ask? Or pay close enough attention to how something is written long enough to see something else?

I think the scriptures speak spiritually about more things than we can pick up all at one time, but we are always deciding if something carnally is good and or bad according to our natural reasonings / and or according to worldly man things and miss the point of them. But how many really ask? Or pay close enough attention to how something is written long enough to see something else?

That is why context is so important (your last sentence)

Truswell I cannot see your posts when I am online because the ignore feature on which makes you invisible to me, but I have caught this post as I had another post on another thread when I was not signed on, because I can see your posts whenever they are within an eye shot and I catch one, and I did answer you on one.  I am going to keep the feature on (just so that you are aware of this) so if I do not respond you know why.

On an aside note I did find that link you had asked me about on another thread (about something I did not say) but what I did say was on that thread, and I found the exact page of your quarrel with me on the scripture I posted. Where you claimed I denied Jesus Christ by one on page 5  and went after each post after.

I am so glad to find you coming into this peaceful thread trying to establish contact, and reaching out finding an agreement on "something".

I know its a little late coming, but that's the thread, and the exact page. I left a screen shot of your  response. Hope that helps.

I was agreeing with you. I was meaning those who deny the deity of Jesus. That diagram is brilliant!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
