This Samson's name is Jesus. And yes, it was prophesied that He will personally and "alone" save the Jews from an Islamic/Edomite horde:

Isaiah 63:1 Who is this who comes from ^aEdom^a, with dyed garments from ^aBozrah^a? This one who is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength?

I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

2 Why is your apparel red, and your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

3 I have trodden the winepress ^balone; and of the people there was none with me^b: for I trod them in my anger, and trampled them in my fury; and ^ctheir blood has been spattered upon my garments, and I have stained all my robes^c.

The Israeli government already has a Samson option.It is used after the Israeli government has been defeated and it defences destroyed

You've read of this option being implemented in the bible by the Israeli governments close ally ,the king of the north three days after Jerusalem is taken.All of the nations that come against Jerusalem are destroyed along with Israel itself .The only people left of all those nations are the ones who have received the saviour
