The problem is people have trouble rightly dividing the natural things from the spiritual things, as the natural man only knows what he knows naturally.

Many in the "spiritual elite" stumble over the practicalities of God's Permissive Will as it is called, and itemised in this passage known as God's Toolbox.

1Co 1:27-31  But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;  (28)  and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,  (29)  that no flesh should glory in His presence.  (30)  But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—  (31)  that, as it is written, "HE WHO GLORIES, LET HIM GLORY IN THE LORD."

Let us not confuse the “carnal elite” with the “spiritual elite”as the wisdom that is from below is carnal/natural and is not the same Wisdom that comes from above, and is spiritual.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

No confusion . . .

Quote Who are the super-apostles Paul mentions in 2 Corinthians 11:5? | GotQuestions.org

The “super-apostles” were false teachers who appeared to be superior to Paul in their manner and authority. Paul calls them “super” in a facetious manner.

I don’t believe Paul is talking about false apostles there, I believe he is referring to the other apostles/ disciples of the Lord.  He says the same here…

I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing”

Jesus said….

And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
