As far as I know Daniel doesn't say what he looks like.

I'll try something else.

who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

That's not Trump.

You seriously believe he will exalt himself above God and do lying miracles?

Will he exalt himself above all that is called  god or that is worshiped?

Probably ,he tries his best to do  that already.

Will he lie?

Yes

Will he do miracles?

No

Will.he give Israel a host that will make fire come down put of heaven?

That's what I'm expecting.

What "politics" in Jesus' day?  Dictators don't have elections.  Paul never spoke of political parties.

May I suggest a read of  http://www.gospelpolitics.com/jesus-and-politics.html There are many presentations online sharing of the politics of Jesus and of His "day".

He was in gross dereliction of duty by doing nothing. He had at His disposal the armies of heaven (Mat.26:53). He was very clear that His Kingdom was not of this "kosmos". The meaning of that word is "the arrangement of things" Any political aspirations would have defiled His Kingdom with worldliness.

He accomplished his mission doing his Father's will becoming the victory over death. He died to do so, after  suffering a political attack and a political trial.  He arose again and has ascended to prepare a place  for us.  Seems pretty active to me, plus he  has been and is a master of strategy and tactics. Doing all things  in good time at His Father's command of him. He will return for his own given to him byHis father. Seems to be the master  over all politics, all rulers.

Romans 13 seems a very political statement to me.

No,he did not.

The Jews did hold an election though. The day they voted to crucify Jesus. They choose Barnabas.Their tastes hasn't changed much in 2000 years. They wanted a murderer then and they have one now.

Soon they will be receiving the mark of one or the other king of the Jews.

Which one do you think the majority will choose?

Romans 13 seems a very political statement to me.

I respect that you see things that way. Each of us must settle things in his/her own mind.

Here is the Oxford definition of "politics". It is a noun and has two meanings. I find our Lord uninvolved.

1. the activities associated with the governance of a country or area, especially the debate between parties having power.

2. activities aimed at improving someone's status or increasing power within an organization.

From the laws that keep an atom together to Genesis 1:11-12 - the Law of kinds which dictates our Lord's dual nature, God is a God of order. He institutes government to maintain order. Presently the Gentiles rule. This rule is God-ordained (Dan.4:17). Is it politics to demand obedience to the Powers that God has put in place? Or is it a call to order so that men might live in peace? This, I judge, is Romans 13.

Which political party does death belong?

Which definition above applies to Jesus' trial?

Which party did our Lord belong to?

Jesus advocated paying taxes to the rulers - Rome

Jesus complied with the Temple Tax - Moses

Jesus declared himself a king but did not take power

Jesus advised His disciples to do as the Pharisees said

Jesus refused every time the people wanted to make Him king

Jesus specifically said that we do not war against flesh and blood

Even if the point is made that our Lord made a show of the principalities that is a military action - not a political

I find not a single political activity that Jesus was involved in. Even the conflict He provoked between Pharisee and Sadducee was about the resurrection - a religious question.

Not really .There is no one world government in the bible other than that of the Lord.

I guess you never read Revelation.  Rev 13:7

Right, that's the Millennial Reign.  Which will begin AFTER the Tribulation.  So you don't even know about the globalists' one world government schemes.  Figures.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

It's about the man of sin moving the tabernacle of his palace to Jerusalem.

A tabernacle is a movable building and it is of his palace meaning it represents his palace. An Embassy is the modern term for such a building. You put your embassy in another's countries capital city .

I learned this verse in 2003 after  the second US /,Iraq war had started.I read about it first.

What book and chapter is this?  Why just quote verse numbers and leave out the book and chapter?  What are you trying to hide?

Let everyone read the text for themselves.

I read the bible.

If you call the word of God left then ok.

No, I call your opinions left, because you are in the same attitude as they are about Trump.  Trump governed the way the Bible teaches.  Totally opposite of the dictatorial lunatic left.  Trump is diametrically opposed to the entire platform of the left.  And you think he is the a/c.  Tells me everything.

I don't know how God would feel about that.
