Rapture

Hi All.

Sorry but just one last time as my wife goes into hospital today for a opp & will be bad for a good two weeks or more & this on top of having two small children & also myself being disabled I can not afford the time spent on this forum, so I have no idea when I will be able to come on again for at least two weeks or so.

First for what Justin has said HE HE HA HA HA HA HE HE HE HAR HAR HAR HE HE HE .

No matter what you say you will not change the facts YOU HAVE PROVEN NOTHING if anything we have proven through your refusal to take the chance to prove us all wrong, we have proven that you are wrong. As I have said I could post lots & lots of scripture to make my point but I have not done so. What I did was to give you all the chance to finally prove us all wrong & you can not do it & you refuse to do it. So that shows fear that you will be proven wrong in what you believe.

As I have said you are wrong you have been proven wrong & no matter what you now write or put or cut & paste you have been shown to be wrong & proven to be wrong & nothing is going to change that fact. I will post one last thing though. & here it is.

God Bless to you all

What Is Imminency?

In doing some research on the doctrine of imminency, I noticed few people take the time to actually define what prophetic imminency means. First, let us look at the general definition of the key word

But don't be surprised when some day millions of believers suddenly come up missing.

I question the "missing" concept that is a common understanding.

"Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left." Luke 17:33-46

The key to understanding these verses starts with a spiritual understanding of "save his life" and "lose his life." As we proceed after that eye-opener, we need to ask ourselves what the word "one" is making reference to -- a "body" or a "soul." When "one" of the "two men" or "two women" are taken, are we to assume that "blood and flesh" bodies are to be "snatched" from this planet -- or that souls are to be snatched from bodies? Did Jesus say anything about a "transformation" process or was He explaining that we must "die to our flesh" if we are to "preserve" our lives?

These questions have been asked only because I believe we need to ask God for clarification rather than leaning upon our own understanding.

Hi all.

To Quote dood0808 ( If there was a pre-trib. I have to ask why does the dragon battle the saints. If the saints are being battle in tribulation. Then they are not raptured. If raptured then why would Revelation 13 say this then.

Here is your answer, Biblical answer may I add you can check it all out in the Bible you will find that it is all there.

God Bless you all

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. )

The seventh chapter of the Book of Revelation describes the people who will be saved during the time of the Great Tribulation. First of all this chapter describes the sealing of the servants of God:

"And I heard the number of those sealed. 144,000 of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed." Revelation 7.4

Then it describes the great multitude who are saved as a result of their witness:

"After these things I looked and behold a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb.'" Revelation 7.9-10

The identity of these believers is clearly given in this chapter:

"Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, 'Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?' And I said to him, 'Sir, you know.' So he said to me, 'These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.'" Revelation 7.13-14

The great tribulation is a seven year period which brings this age to an end:

"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And if those days had not been shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened." - Jesus speaking in Matthew 24.21-22.

Revelation chapters 6-19 is a detailed prophecy of the time of the great tribulation. While many attempt to explain away the significance of this book, this magazine takes a literal view of the prophecy. Therefore according to Revelation 7, God is going to reveal supernaturally the identity of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) to 144,000 Jewish men, as he did to Saul of Tarsus (St Paul), who will then evangelise the world with tremendous effectiveness in the final period of this age. As a result of their witness a vast multitude from all races will be saved.

The fate of most of these believers will be martyrdom as the antichrist rises to power:

"When he opened the fifth seal I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held." Revelation 6.9

Halfway through the great tribulation (i.e. after 3

I've looked at all the various scriptures that supposedly support the rapture. I don't believe that any one of these references is speaking of a seperate rapture. Look at the description of the rapture and then look at the description of the 2nd coming of Christ - very similar. I believe they are all talking about the 2nd coming when Jesus comes to fight the battle Armageddon. When Jesus appears in the clouds to fight, He will gather His follows to Him in the clouds.

The rapture, if it were to happen, would be a fairly significant event in history - 2 billion people would just disappear into thin air. Don't you think the Bible would explain more clearly what is going to happen so that those left behind would be able to know what had happened?

The main reason people want to believe the rapture is because they will be spared from the time of trial in the Tribulation. The Bible (varying between translations) promises to "rescue" or "keep" you from this time. Based on the meanings of these words, these verses can be argued two ways - either that it means a supernatural protection whereby Christians are removed from the face of the earth (rapture), or that it is a physical protection while we remain on earth. I think it is much more likely that we are given a physical protection where God helps us to endure the trials and struggles that face us. I believe this because we are told our faith is made stronger through trial (Acts 14:22). We should not fear the trials of the Tribulation because we are told that those who endure trial for the sake of Jesus will be greatly rewarded and will reign with him between the first and second resurrections (Rev 20:4-6).

I supose thats what makes me a post-tribber :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
