It is written “The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

When we are born again of the Holy Spirit we have God’s witness in ourselves. (1 John 5:10)  And God’s 2 witnesses bear witness to our conscience, which are God’s Word and Spirit.

Christ in us, is God’s Living Word in us, bearing witness to our conscience by the Holy Spirit.  Some have the written words on the outside written in a book, but those who are born again of the Holy Spirit have the Living words of God written on the inside, written on their heart/mind/spirit.  This is the New Covenant that Jesus brought into force by his death and resurrection, God writing His law and testimony on our hearts and minds by the Holy Spirit.

When God’s Word and Spirit dwells in a man, he has the law and testimony of God sealed in his heart/mind/spirit bearing witness to his thoughts.  This is God with us.

Paul said of the convert Gentiles, who did not have the written law, showed by their actions the things contained in the law, these, not having the written law, were a law unto themselves. Which showed the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.  This is how God’s 2 witnesses bear witness to our conscience.  The law and testimony of God is in all our thoughts.

Paul said God was His witness, and Paul also spoke of the Holy Spirit as bearing witness to our spirit /conscience.( Romans 8:16) And in Hebrews 9:14 we are told the blood of Christ, which is the Testimony of the Spirit, shall purge our conscience from sinful works.  It is only by having God’s witness in ourselves, that we are able to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2 Cor. 10:5)

When we are renewed in our mind by the Spirit of God, we are then able to prove that which is good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)

God’s witness by the Spirit also guides us into all Truth, because the Spirit is Truth (1 John 5:6). And the only way we can understand the many mysteries and spiritual things of God found in God’s written words is by the witness of the Spirit.  (1 Cor. 2:10)  It is God’s witness in us that speaks to our conscience with that still small voice, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when you turn to the right, or when you turn to the left. (Isaiah 30:21)  He leads us, and causes us to stay on the straight and narrow path of Righteousness. (Psalm 23:3)

By having God’s witness in ourselves we hear His voice, but a strangers voice we will not hear nor will we follow. (John 10:4-5)

Peace

We need to learn to r3cognise that voice, to check what it is saying and to test our understanding with the bible and other mature Christians.

One has only to look at how sincere men seeking g God where lead astray by their failure to do this.

We are not the sole prophet of God, rather we are among many saints whose wisdom we should seek, to ensure we are not like Frank Russell, or Joseph Smith and going off at a tangent.

That is why it is so important to seek wisdom and understanding from God alone By faith.  Those who are born of God shall be taught by God and by Christ His Living Word.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

James 1:5-6

King James Version

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

We are taught by God/Christ after we receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as “the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth,”and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

The spiritual things of God NO MAN knows, but ONLY the Spirit of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

It is important to seek God and wisdom, this can  be learnt from Godly teachers.

To deny that there are such men, means you, as a Godly teacher, are really teaching lies.

Follow the reasoning.

If one can only learn from God, what value is there in your posts?

Either you like other preachers and teachers are of God or if one only learns from God then you are not of God.

I did not say that there are no Godly men, or Godly teachers.  If a man is anointed of the Holy Spirit he is made a minister of God.

But there are also many false teachers and prophets who claim to be of God. So how can a man tell the difference between the true and the false if he himself does not know the Truth? And how can a man “hear”if he has not been “given”ears to hear?

If a man is taught by God and by Christ, then he will be able to know the difference between the true and the false.  The Lords anointed are not taught by men, but by Christ.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ

If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

Seek understanding from the Lord by faith.  Peace

We learn through multiple means, through the preaching of Godly men, through the example of Godly Christians, through experience and yes through our own Bible study.

As Jesus said it is by their fruit that we will know them.

Jesus taught that it is a high responsibility  to be a Christian teacher, he warned  that teaching that caused young Christians to stumble would be punished.

Would you trust a doctor who had never studied medicine!

A theological  degree is no guarantee  of being a Christianm, neither does the claim of being taught by God.

We have to make a judgement on what they say, do and how others one respects views them.

Some are ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth.

Man/men cannot give you “ears” to hear and “eyes” to see what “the Spirit is saying”in God’s written words, only God alone can do this.

The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them.

We are going round in circles.

You repeatedly idolise a mystical learning unregulated by any sort of check while simultaneously  demonising  all man's teaching, except your own.

There was a craze  in education here in the UK, that believed if smal. Children, infants etc were around books they would just learn to read.

It quickly  was shown to be nonsense.

In the same way new or young Christians need teachers, actual people to teach them about Christianity.

Even mature Christians can be lead astray and need correcting when they go off at a tangent.

It is “mystical” to those who do not understand how God and Christ can teach a man by His Spirit.
I am simply telling people to seek understanding from the Lord alone by faith. And His Spirit will guide you into all Truth, as Jesus said.

Jesus also said we are not to be called Teacher, for One is our Teacher, which is Christ.

What I am saying is what Christ and the apostles taught, that you do not need any man to teach you, God’s Spirit can teach you all things.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
